Level 8 is the second most important level you will reach in Alien Invasion RPG Idle Space mobile game. Reaching this level unlocks a whole new area with unique mechanic and content in the game. If you have just reached level 8 or even if you haven’t yet reached it and wondering about what do you find behind level 8 door then you have come to the right place. Alien Invasion Level 8
If you have already reached level 8 then there is a good chance that no new doors might have opened in your game. The reason is because level 8 door is none other than Stukov Door which requires you to complete the Main Quest before you could open it.
So other than reaching level 8 you also need to complete Main Quest and obtain Kustov Power to be able to open level 8 door. If you are having trouble completing the Main Quest then make sure to check out my guide on Kustov Power. In that guide you can learn exactly how to complete each quest.
After opening level 8 door you will be able to access the initial area of winter zone. This zone has a freezing effect due to which, the longer you stay in the zone or deeper you go into the zone your alien will start freezing and his efficiency will decrease.
The more your efficiency decreases slower or reduced your catching and movement speed will get. Your catching radius will also start shrinking due to which you will have a hard time catching enemies at winter zone. So winter zone is a little challenging area (in the beginning).
In level 8 room you will find two new upgradable screens. The first and also the most important one is “Ice Market”. This market has stats which you can upgrade to make your survival easier at winter zone. The two most important stats in it are Warm Regen & Warm Capacity so you should always try to keep leveling both these stats.
The second screen is “Winter Bots Shop” using which you can unlock winter catching aliens by spending some crystals. Your regular catcher aliens can’t enter winter zone and thus you need to unlock new catcher aliens from this shop if you want to get resources a little more faster.
You will also find a Furnace in this room using which you can obtain a new winter zone resource. However you will first need to complete a quest called “Build the Furnace” in order to unlock this structure. This quest is quite easy so you will be able to complete it very easily. After building Furnace you will be able to check and level up five stats inside it. Below you can check all these five stats found inside Furnace.
- Drone Catching Speed
- Bake Capacity
- Reagent Drop
- Bake Efficiency
- Reagents Income
You will need to put in Reagents in your Furnace to obtain the new refined resource. You can obtain Reagents by catching nearby flying drones and also by unlocking “Reagents Income” stat inside Furnace. If you don’t have time for manual farming of Reagents then unlocking this stat can be pretty helpful.
The new refined resource obtained from Furnace can be used to Unlock New Units in the room. These units are a great way to obtain “Ice Meat” which is like a basic resource at winter zone and also required for leveling up stats at Ice Market.
You will also find a Locked Barrel near Furnace in the area which is another great source of Reagents. A lot of players get confused and unable to understand how locked barrel works. If you are unable to get reagents from your Locked Barrel then make sure to check out my Locked Barrel guide.
Lastly you can also find a spot to build a new base at this winter zone by spending 250 crystals. This way you won’t have to go back to your base in regular area every time you want to unload resources. It’s up to you if you want to unlock this base or not. In my experience it’s better to spend crystals at other places in the game than this new base.
