Although the game mentions him as a “Hard Mission” but he is not really hard to beat, even with low level Minis. All you need to do is just use the correct strategy with right Minis and you will be able to defeat him. If you are struggling to beat Abercrombie then no need to worry anymore. How To Beat Abercrombie In Warcraft Rumble
You will find two paths leading to Abercrombie so in order to beat him the very first thing you need to know is which path you need to take. At left side you have a Meeting Stone which is easier to capture while on the right there is a Guard Tower which can be captured after destroying it.
So you obviously need to pick the left side path as all you need to do is just send a ranged or melee Mini to the Meeting Stone and it will be yours. However as soon as the game begins the first thing you need to do is deploy a ranged troop at the right side path.
This is because an enemy Kobold will march towards the Gold Vein at right side, as soon as the game begins. If he gets successful is breaking the vein then the enemy will get 3 gold right away. This can make the victory really difficult for you. Therefore make sure to immediately deploy a low cost ranged troop and beat him.
The next thing you need to do is beat Stitches, who can hook and devour one of your Minis every 12 seconds. He can be really dangerous so try to get rid of him by capturing the Meeting Stone and quickly deploying enough Minis there. If you have Defias Bandits then he can be really helpful against Stitches due to his ability to stun the enemy.

Once you have beaten Stitches, all you need to do is just keep deploying your Minis at Meeting Stone so that they can target Abercrombie. He keeps throwing poisonous slime which deal a great amount of damage due to which it might take you some time to beat him as some of your Minis will be beaten quickly from his poisonous slime.
Just keep deploying troops at the Meeting Stone, even if some enemies start moving towards your Barracks from the right side path. You will ultimately beat Abercrombie before they could reach your base. The great thing about this strategy is that your troops don’t need to be at high levels.
If you are wondering about which are the best Minis for this Abercrombie mission then here are the recommended ones. I personally used the following Minis for Abercrombie – Gryphon Rider, Darkspear Troll, Defias Bandits, Gnoll Brute, Flamewaker and Chain Lightning. Of course if you don’t have some of these Minis then no worries, just use other equivalent or better ones.
