Frozen City Kitchen Guide

Before learning about how to get more food, first let’s get to know about Kitchen in Frozen City. Kitchen is one of the basic and most important buildings in the game. It is used for cooking meal for your survivors which satisfies their rest and food needs. Your survivors visit the kitchen two times per day to get their meal so it’s really important to have enough raw food to cook meals for all survivors.

At the top bar in Kitchen you can see the number of raw food needed and the number of meal you can cook together with time needed to cook a meal. Under “Supply” you can check the amount of food and rest needs provided by a meal to the survivor.

Under these stats you can find “Burner” and “Dining Table“. You can upgrade Burner to decrease the time required for cooking a meal which will allow you to make meals faster. As the number of survivors working in the city increases, you will need to make more meals. If you don’t cook meals faster then many of them might remain hungry that’s why it’s important to upgrade or level up the Burner. Dining Table can be upgraded to increase the amount of rest needs from meal.

Note that you can also cook different types of meal in your kitchen. The default one is Basic food which satisfies +20 food need of each survivor. By upgrading Kitchen hero Dr. Lee to level 15 you can cook “Hearty Meal” which satisfies +25 food need and by upgrading him to level 25 you can cook a new meal called “Fine Dining” which satisfies +30 food needs of survivors.

Frozen City Hunter’s Cabin Guide

Hunter’s Cabin works differently than other buildings because unlike other buildings you can’t reduce the time required for making the item (in this case it’s raw food). That’s why you will see “Work-Hour” mentioned under “Time” which means you will get the mentioned amount of raw food at each work-hour (there are two work hours each day).

How To Get More Food In Frozen City

After learning above important details about Kitchen and Hunter’s Cabin now let’s check out how to get more food in Frozen City. You can find out when you have shortage of raw food by checking the symbol of survivors or chefs in your kitchen. They will turn red with a pause icon over them and when you tap on these survivors it will say “Survivor cannot work due to insufficient raw materials“.

You will also notice that some workers are showing under “Can’t Work” on “Survivor Management” screen. These are actually the chefs in your kitchen who have stopped working due to insufficient raw food and are now showing as “can’t work”. There could be other reasons also for survivors showing as can’t work, like when they get sick due to extreme cold etc. These workers will change to “”Working” as soon as you make enough meal for all survivors.

So now comes the main question and that is how to get more food? There are actually three ways you can use to increase the production of raw food and ultimately make more meals which will be enough for all survivors in the city. Below you can learn about all these 3 ways.

1. The first and the easiest way to get more raw food is to upgrade Hunting Tools and Trophy in your Hunter’s Cabin. Make sure to keep upgrading both these sub stats whenever possible to gradually keep increasing the production of raw food.

2. The second way to greatly increase the production of food is to assign more survivors or hunters to Hunter’s Cabin. In order to assign more hunters you will need to upgrade Hunter’s Cabin. You can upgrade Hunter’s Cabin every time you upgrade Hunting Tools by 20 levels. So try to focus more on upgrading Hunting Tools than Trophy because it adds more raw food each upgrade and also allows to assign extra hunters.

3. The third and the last way to get more food is to upgrade Hunter’s Cabin hero Aiden. Leveling him up multiplies the output of raw food and thus it’s another fastest way to get more raw food. Upgrading Aiden is also necessary for assigning more hunters as each hunter slot requires Aiden to be at a specific level. So make sure to keep leveling him up because he will also be helpful in battle and adventure modes.
