I highly recommend using all the methods mentioned below so that you could get maximum possible stars. Using just a few of them won’t really give you that much stars. So let’s check out seven ways to get blazing stars in Frozen City.
1. Shop Chests – This is the most basic and straightforward way to get blazing stars as well as hero cards. You can find 3 types of chests in the shop which are Common Chest, Rare Chest and Golden Chest. Common Chest can be opened for free every 8 hours and each of these chests give you 10 blazing stars. You can actually open 2 common chests every 8 hours, the second one can be opened by watching an Ad. So even if you just log into the game every 8 hours to open these chests, you will be able to farm a lot of blazing stars in just few days.
The two other chests (Rare and Golden) give you 30 and 100 blazing stars respectively. Each Rare chest costs 350 gems while Golden chest costs 800 gems. If you want to decide which of these two should you open and if you are mainly looking for blazing stars then it’s best to open golden chest. So it’s better to wait till you collect 800 gems and then spend them on a Golden Chest to get 100 stars.
2. Special Packs – There are also various special packs available in the shop which give you a specific hero for a certain price. These packs also include other items like gems, blazing stars, time skippers etc. Like in the image below you can see this “Frost City Deck” pack includes Eddie, 350 Blazing Stars and 3 Thirty Minutes skip. So if you are looking for an instant way to get blazing stars then you can purchase such packs from the Shop.
3. Task Chests – There will be certain tasks which will provide you a Common, Rare or Wooden chest as a completion reward. These tasks are like an extra way to obtain chests. So instead of just waiting it’s better to focus on completing tasks so that you could earn more gems for opening chests from the shop and also get tasks which reward you with chests.

4. Final Rare Chest – This can be considered just another extra way to get a Rare Chest. By completing tasks at a city you don’t only get specific task rewards but also gradually progress towards unlocking a rare chest. Once you have completed all the tasks in the city you will be able to claim this rare chest and then move onto the next city on map. As mentioned above, this is one more reason why you should always focus on completing tasks.
5. Adventure – You can access Adventure mode by arriving on the map. If you don’t see Adventure button at bottom left of the screen then tap on magnifying glass button at the center of the screen. In this mode you begin with 3 heroes of your choice and try to advance as far as possible by selecting your desired unit after each enemy encounter. This mode is usually best for getting different resources which help you in upgrading buildings but it also provides a small amount of gems and Blazing Stars. So although it’s not the best way but still a way to get some blazing stars.
6. Special Events – There are two special events available in the game right now, Grandpa’s Farm and Fish Farming. You can participate in these events and play for just a few hours to claim the 3rd milestone reward and get 50 blazing stars. This is probably the most easiest way to get blazing stars because the effort required is very minimal.
However note that you can participate in these events only once a week as they are available only on Fridays. Also, you need to wait 3 days in order to claim your Blazing Stars as the event rewards can only be claimed after the end of the event. These events are the best ways to get gems, golden chests and other rewards and thus it’s highly recommended to participate in these events.
7. Buy With Gems – The last way is to simply buy the missing blazing stars or hero cards with gems. Even if you don’t have enough of these items you can still tap on upgrade button at “Add Star” screen of the hero you want to upgrade to buy the missing resources with gems. More the amount of missing blazing stars, more gems you will need to spend.
