Stubborn Dog is kind of a mini quest in Dragonheir Silent Gods. In this quest you encounter a dog who is guarding a chest and asks you not to come closer or attempt to take the chest. You can actually take his chest in exchange of an item. If you are unable to complete this quest and wondering what’s inside the chest protected by the dog then you have come to the right place. Dragonheir Stubborn Dog
You can find this dog towards southeast at Chaos Universum. On interacting with this dog he will say “Woof! Please don’t come any closer. I won’t let anyone take what’s behind me. I’ve made a promise to a person and i have to keep it … woof, woof.” After that you will get the below mentioned options to choose from.
What is it you’re guarding?
Who did you make the promise to?
May i see the chest behind you?
Better leave him alone
Out of these 4 options you need to select the third one which says “May i see the chest behind you”. The dog will then say “*Howl* No! Like i already said! I have to guard it!” But then you will get below mentioned 4 next options to choose from.
Try to convince him
Pretend to throw something to lure him away
I dug up some ashes in the Faithless Ruins …

You now need to select the first option which is “Try to convince him”. Your character will now try to convince him by saying “Hey, you claim to be guarding this thing for someone, but when you think about it … does such a person really exist?”
There will now be a Charisma Check in which you will need to throw a dice. On passing this check the dog will say “Are you saying that the thing i am guarding and the person i made a promise to, may be long gone? It’s … not possible … but … Where is that person … now? Everything is … getting blurry …”
Congrats! as you will have successfully convinced and kind of fooled the Stubborn Dog by selecting the above mentioned options. The dog will then disappear and you will be free to claim his now. If you are wondering what do find inside the chest then it’s 2 Wyrmarrow and 1 Helmet equipment.
Note that if you don’t choose the above mentioned options then you might need to give him a quest item called “Ashen Remains” in order to get the chest. Therefore make sure to choose only the above mentioned options so that you don’t have to spend your Ashen Remains.
