Portal Tome is a world event exclusive item obtained at Library of Zoltun Kulle in Diablo Immortal. It is obtained by collecting 5 lost pages for Kulle’s Hidden Chambers event. Finding and collecting these 5 pages is a challenge in itself but some players encounter yet another challenge when they don’t know how to use portal tome after they have obtained it. Although it’s quite easy to use portal tome but new players who are not yet experienced with various mechanics of the game might face this problem. What Is Portal Tome & How To Get It In Diablo Immortal

Before learning about how to use portal tome, first let’s quickly get to know what it is and how to get it in Diablo Immortal. Once you reach level 60 and switch to Hell 1 difficulty in the game, new world events are unlocked at various zones in the game. One such event is “Kulle’s Hidden Chambers” which appears at Library of Zoltun Kulle. In this event you need to collect 5 lost pages which are scattered throughout the area. After collecting all 5 pages you will get 1 portal tome. The item is not stored in your inventory that’s why many players get confused about how to use it.

Also note that once you get a portal tome, you can again start collecting more pages to get more tomes. You can get maximum 5 portal tomes this way. You don’t necessarily need to use each one right away so it’s up to you when you want to use them.

How To Use Portal Tome In Diablo Immortal

Now let’s check out exactly how to use portal tome once you have obtained it. Just follow the quick steps mentioned below and you will be able to activate portal tome in Diablo Immortal.

Step 1. After collecting the 5th page you need to tap on the small magnifying glass icon in front of the event quest shown at left side of the screen. Check the image below for exact location.

You might not have noticed but after you collect the 5th page the game even highlights this magnifying glass icon for a second, to notify you that you need to tap on it. But most players don’t notice it probably because it also shows the following message “You have collected a Lost Page and obtained a Portal Tome” right at the center of the screen at the same time. In the image below you can see this message and also the highlighted icon.

Step 2. Once you tap on this magnifying glass icon it will open the quest details window where all details about the quest will be mentioned. You will also find a “Use” button in that window, just tap on this button to use portal tome.

Step 3. After using your portal tome as mentioned above, 1 of the 5 hidden chambers can unlock which also includes two world bosses Fleshcraft Hydra and Sandstone Golem. If you get a message stating any of these two bosses have spawned (as shown in the image below) then make sure to tap on the quest at left side of the screen to be automatically taken to the boss’ spawn location.

As soon as the boss spawns, all players at the zone will be notified about it so that everyone could reach there within the provided 3 minutes time. Since these bosses have millions of HP so all players available at the zone need to beat these bosses together.
