1. Salvaging Equipment – The first and also the best way to get Glowing Shards is to salvage your legendary and set items at Blacksmith. However don’t just salvage any legendary item. You should only salvage your extra or duplicate legendaries and that too after extracting their essence. 2. Battleground Rank Rewards – You can also get glowing shards every time you reach a new rank in Battlegrounds. So make sure to consistently participate in Battlegrounds by visiting Battleground Captain in Westmarch because you can get a lot of gold, XP and various other rewards using this PvP game mode.
3. Purify The Corruption Event – This is another great and easy way to get Glowing Shards. All you need to do is reach level 60 and then change difficulty to Hell 1. Now when you visit Dark Wood, you will find “Purify the Corruption” event available for you. All you need to do now is to kill enemies to fill the corruption meter. You can find Adept’s Prizes which is attached with Prodigy’s Path inside “Services” tab in game Shop. Adept’s Prizes gives you specific items as a reward on reaching specific paragon levels. You can get 2 glowing shards on reaching level 55. As i mentioned it’s not a great source but still one of the ways to get these shards.

5. Free Daily Rewards – This is the most easiest and effortless way to glowing shards. All you need to do is just log into the game everyday and claim your free shard from this chest available in the shop.

Farming glowing shards is quite easy but really grindy. In order to farm glowing shards you just need to use method 1 and 2 mentioned above. So first keep farming legendary items and salvage the suitable ones to quickly get more shards. Secondly keep doing the “Purify the Corruption” event at Dark Wood. The great thing about this event is that it doesn’t have a long cooldown period like other events. You can do this event every 20 minutes to farm glowing shards!
