Old Growth Ambush can be encountered during “Hiding In Plain Sight” achievement in Diablo Immortal. In order to complete this Realm of Damnation achievement you need to survive the old growth’s ambush. After completing this achievement you can claim 40 hilts as a reward through Codex. Old Growth Ambush Location In Diablo Immortal
Before learning about how to survive the old growth ambush, first you must know exactly where to find it. You will encounter this ambush during “Hiding In Plain Sight” achievement for Realm of Damnation. It is a side quest which is triggered when you visit “Forest of Misery” at the zone. In the image below you can find old growth ambush location marked with a red colored cross.
In order to spawn Old Growth Ambush just use “Forest of Misery Waypoint” to arrive at Realm of Damnation. Then just keep moving towards North by killing enemies in the way. As you reach Forest of Misery you will get a New Event notification on your screen. You can now find “Hiding In Plain Sight” side quest in your quests list at left side of your screen.

Although Old Growth Ambush side quest is not that hard to complete but you still definitely need to be careful. The reason is that you will be surrounded with numerous monsters because there will already be many monsters at the location and the quest itself spawns even more monsters.

Hiding In Plain Sight quest has two parts. In the first part you need to kill 21 Rasplets, who are monsters with approx 15,000 to 30,000 HP each in Hell 2 difficulty. You need to be very careful of them because they can quickly surround you from all sides to drain all your HP. So the best way to deal with them is to not let many of them come closer to you and also keep moving away from them while attacking.
In the second part of this quest you will need to defeat an elite monster called “Vrytix The Aggreived”. This monster has 283,309 HP in Hell 2 difficulty and will spawn right next to you at Forest of Misery after you kill all 21 Rasplets. This monster is also not really hard to beat, just make sure to be alert from other monsters at the location who keep spawning periodically. Vrytix The Aggreived’s attacks alone might not necessarily kill you but when combined with other monsters’ attack it can definitely be dangerous for you so make sure to be alert from them.
