This Raene Wolfrunner mission is hard to complete because the enemies in this mission are quite powerful, mainly the Huntresses and Footmen. They are really tanky and also deal a great amount of damage due to which they can quickly beat most of your Minis.
However you don’t need to worry about them because in this post i will show you how to get rid of them to easily complete this mission. But before that the first thing you need to know is which path you need to take in order to reach Raene Wolfrunner safely with most of your Minis.
The first path is the left one where you can find a Guard Tower. The second path is the right one from where the three huntresses arrive to your base. There is also a Meeting Stone in this way but it is also the longest path. The last one is the bridge which takes you to Raene Wolfrunner in the shortest time.
The best way to reach the boss is through the bridge. The reason is because there are three amazing benefits of choosing this path. The first one is obviously its the shortest route but other than that you will also easily be able to beat and capture the Guard Tower through the bridge.
So as soon as the game begins, quickly deploy Gryphon Rider, Pyromancer and Charlga Razorflank at bottom left corner of your base. They will easily beat the enemies (Gryphon Rider and Flamewaker) who come to your base from the left side at the beginning of the game.
After beating those enemies your troops, especially Charlga Razorflank will also take down the Guard Tower very easily. This way you will get rid of left side enemies as well as also capture the tower. You will now be ready to deploy your troops at tower location to easily target Raene Wolfrunner.

After deploying the above mentioned three characters at left side you should quickly shift your focus on the three Huntresses coming from the right side. You first need to use Execute spell on them while they are on their way and as soon as they reach close to your base, deploy Defias Bandits to stun and attack them.
Execute spell will immediately slash half health of each Huntress, making it much easier to beat them. While they are stunned from the stealth attack of Defias Bandits, simply deploy any ranged Mini behind your Barracks to easily eliminate those annoying Huntresses.
After beating Huntresses start deploying as many Minis as possible at Guard Tower. Charlga Razorflank and Defias Bandits are going to be your most helpful units in beating Raene Wolfrunner. When your units are close to reach the boss simply deploy a Quilboar behind the boss. This will shift Raene’s focus on Quilboar while your units keep attacking her.
Four Footmen might also spawn near the boss while your units are attacking her. However don’t worry much about them and just keep deploying more units at Tower. Raene Wolfrunner will be defeated before those Footmen could beat your units. That’s basically all you need to do and you will easily be able to complete this mission.
If you are wondering about which other Minis you need to use then here is the full list of units i used for Raene Wolfrunner – Quilboar, Gryphon Rider, Pyromancer, Defias Bandits, Vultures, Execute with Charlga Razorflank as leader. Of course if you don’t have some of these Minis then no worries, just use other equivalent or better ones.
