Campfire is a really helpful spot located at several places in Alien Invasion RPG Idle Space mobile game. These campfires can also be upgraded but a lot of players seem to ignore these Campfire Upgrades. The reason could be that they have no idea about how campfires work or may be they don’t know how to upgrade them. If you are also one of those players then no need to worry anymore. Alien Invasion Campfire
First of all, if you don’t see these campfires in your game then it simply means that you haven’t unlocked Stukov Door. These campfires are located in winter zone which can only be accessed after unlocking Stukov Door. You can check the linked post in this paragraph to learn exactly how to unlock this door.
However you won’t be able to immediately access campfire after unlocking the winter zone. The reason is because these campfires are locked behind level 10 door. So even after unlocking the winter zone you will first need to reach level 10 in order to access any campfire.
In level 10 room you can find total 6 campfires which are located at key locations. On reaching any of these campfire spots a message titled “POWER” will appear in which you will be able to see two stats which are “Temperature” and “Radius”.
If you are wondering about both these stats then let me tell you that Temperature stat denotes the temperature of the surrounding area near that campfire. Radius stat shows the size of the area affected from that campfire. This area can be seen as a green colored circle around that campfire.
As you know that further you go into winter zone, more frozen the atmosphere becomes. This increases the Freezing level which ultimately reduces alien’s efficiency. When that happens your alien’s attack speed, movement speed and radius starts decreasing.
In order to survive and work efficiently in winter zone you mainly need to focus on leveling up Warm Regen & Warm Capacity stats. But other than that you can also use these campfires to stay warm for longer and freeze more slowly.

If you are freezing anywhere in winter zone then you can simply go to any nearby campfire. As soon as you enter the radius of the campfire you will notice that Freezing Level value at top left side will increase slower than normal. This means you will stay warm for longer and freeze a lot slower till you stay inside a campfire’s radius.
You can also upgrade campfires (up to level 40) to increase their radius and warmth power. In order to upgrade campfires you will need Toxic Barrels. These barrels are scattered everywhere in level 10 room and also any further rooms where campfires are available.
You can easily farm these Toxic Barrels by simply staying near them for few seconds, just like you claim other items in the game. These barrels keep spawning frequently at random spots in the room. So if you need more barrels then just come back to the room in few minutes and you will find more of them.
You can also get these barrels for free every 8 hours from “Winter” tab at Shop. From the same screen you can also buy these barrels for 100 and 500 crystals. After getting Toxic Barrels from all these ways you can just go to any campfire and tap on barrels button at right side on “POWER” message to upgrade it.
