How To Get Talents & Stars In Warcraft Rumble
When you open the “Info” screen of any Unit and slide once towards left side you are presented with that Unit’s Talents screen. At this screen you can tap on blue colored “i” button at top right side to check all talents of a unit (even if his/her talents haven’t been unlocked yet).
These talents unlock powerful new abilities of your Units which can be extremely helpful in battles. You might be wondering how do you unlock and use these Talents. Well, in order to know that you first need to understand that Units/ Minis and leaders are available in five rarities in the game.
These rarities are Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The rarity of a unit can be identified by the color of it’s border. You will notice that all three talent slots at Talents screen of a unit have three different background colors. Just like the unit, these colors denote a rarity.
So it should now be pretty clear to you that Talent slots can be unlocked by upgrading the rarity of a unit. First talent slot can be unlocked by upgrading a unit to Uncommon, second one can be unlocked at Rare and the third slot can be unlocked after upgrading a unit to Epic rarity.
Once a talent slot has been unlocked, you will be able to purchase that unit’s talent from G.R.I.D. at store using gold. Note that Talents won’t appear in G.R.I.D. until you upgrade the rarity of a unit or directly purchase a high rarity unit from Store.

So now the question comes, how to upgrade the rarity of units so that you could unlock their talent slots. Well, if you tap on “Upgrade” button at a Common unit’s Info screen you will find that you need certain amount of Arc Energy and Star Points. Once you have obtained the required amounts of these resources you will be able to upgrade the unit to Uncommon Rarity.
Similarly for upgrading an Uncommon unit you will need one more resource called Cores. These cores can be obtained from Daily Quest rewards and Heroic Zones (which unlocks after getting 50 Sigils). For getting Arc Energy (shock icon) you need to play Dungeons and beat bosses there.
One of the most asked question is how to get stars in Warcraft Rumble. Well, in order to get these stars you just need to obtain duplicates of a unit from G.R.I.D. or any other ways. Whenever a duplicate unit or Mini appears in G.R.I.D. you will see “+1” mentioned at the bottom with star icon which means you will get 1 star for that unit by purchasing it.
If you get a high rarity duplicate unit then you will get more number of stars. Note that the number of stars required keeps increasing with rarity. Below you can check how many stars you need in order to upgrade to next rarity.
- Common to Uncommon – 3 Stars
- Uncommon to Rare – 10 Stars
- Rare to Epic – 25 Stars
- Epic to Legendary – 25 Stars
