How To Beat Bloodmage Thalnos In Warcraft Rumble
The first thing you need to know is that Bloodmage Thalnos and the enemies are level 9 in this mission. Therefore it’s very important that your units are also at level 9 (recommended level is 10) to be able to complete this mission. It would be extremely hard to beat him with low level units. Higher the levels of your units, the better.
If your units are not at least level 9 or above yet then stop trying to complete this mission and take a few days to grind the Quest mode to level up your units first. You will only frustrate yourself if you keep trying to beat Bloodmage Thalnos with low level units.
In order to clear this mission the first thing you need to know is which path you need to take so that you could reach Bloodmage Thalnos with most of your units. The area has two paths to choose from, the left and the right one. You will find two Banshee located at both paths.
The best way is to choose the left side path as it takes you to Bloodmage Thalnos quicker. However you will also find more enemies on this path. But no need to worry because i am going to tell you exactly how to eliminate each enemy and get to Bloodmage Thalnos faster.
As soon as the game begins, deploy Vultures backed with Pyromancer at left path. This way the first Banshee will possess one of the Vulture and get easily beaten by the remaining Vultures or Pyromancer. You can then deploy a Bat Rider as well to easily eliminate Ogre Mage and other enemies coming from the same side.

Don’t forget to also take care of Abomination and Spiderlings reaching your base from right side path. The good thing is that both are ground units so you can easily get rid of them by deploying a flying unit like Vultures or Bat Rider together with one more ranged unit of your choice.
Your deployed units at left side path might get fully wiped in clearing the initial enemies. Therefore it’s important to deploy more flying and ranged units there as soon as you collect enough gold, otherwise the two Banshee will respawn. The three Treasure Chests at left path will greatly help you to get more gold.
When your units are about to reach Bloodmage Thalnos make sure to deploy Quilboar right behind him. This way he will turn towards Quilboar making it much easier for your units to attack him without getting attacked. It’s important to attack him with as many units as possible because it can be hard for new units to reach him from base.
That’s basically all you need to do and you will easily be able to complete this mission. If you are wondering about which other Minis you need to use then here is the full list of units i used for Bloodmage Thalnos – Defias Bandits, Quilboar, Bat Rider, Vultures, Harpies, Pyromancer with Charlga Razorflank as leader. Of course if you don’t have some of these Minis then no worries, just use other equivalent or better ones.
