It simply means that you haven’t yet obtained Kustov Power to unlock the Stukov Door. Right after opening this door you will be able to access these Unlock New Units area at bottom section in winter zone.
You will find that these units require a special resource in order to unlock them. The game doesn’t provides a specific name to this resource but it can be obtained from Furnace which is located close to the Locked Barrel at winter zone. When you check the bottom section of winter area you will find 4 Unlock New Units location. Each of these locations require different quantities of the resource. So the first thing players wonder is what exactly happens on unlocking these units and then the next thing they wonder is which one should they unlock? The cheaper ones of the costliest one?
After unlocking the winter zone, it won’t be that easy or quick to get this resource. That’s why a lot of questions come to players mind, since they don’t want to spend a hard earned resource. The first thing you need to know is that these four Units spots require 50, 120, 250 and 600 resource respectively in order to unlock them. This is because you get two really important resources from these units which are Meat and Ice Meat. You might already be well aware about the use of meat in the game. However you might not be that familiar with Ice Meat. So let me tell you that Ice Meat is required for leveling up various important stats at Ice Market and Winter Bots Shop.
As you know that at winter zone you start freezing as time passes, which greatly reduces your efficiency. Leveling up stats at Ice Market using Ice Meat allows you to increase your heating speed, stay warm for longer, gain increased EXP and more. So you can see that Ice Meat is a really important resource at winter zone.
You might now be wondering which units should you unlock first? So let me tell you that 120, 250 and 600 resource worth units are the best ones as each cart or vehicle behind these units gives you 2.29M Meat and 46 Ice Meat. It doesn’t matter which of these units you unlock first as all of them provide the same amount of resources.
So it basically depends upon how much resource you currently have. If you have 300 resource then you can go for 250 resource unit spot. You will ultimately need to unlock all unit spots as that’s how you will be able to get the most amount of Ice Meat. However you can choose not to unlock the 50 resource one, the reason is mentioned below.
50 resource spot is actually the least valuable as it spawns some fat dudes instead of carts filled with Ice Meat. Although these fat guys also give you Ice Meat but the amount is much less. Each of them give you just 1.47M Meat and 5.75 Ice Meat. Also, these fat guys keep moving instead of stationary carts at other unit spots. So you will need to put in more effort in catching them.
