How To Get Zakarum Sigil In Diablo Immortal
Before learning about what to do with zakarum sigil, you must first know about how to get it in the game. Getting this item is not that easy task because you will need to defeat Lord Martanos in order to obtain it. He can be found at Mount Zavain and he is probably one of the most hardest bosses to defeat in the game.
Zakarum Sigil is a guaranteed drop from Lord Martanos so you will get 1 every time you defeat him. As mentioned earlier, he can be a really difficult boss to defeat, specially if you try to beat him solo. What To Do With Zakarum Sigil In Diablo Immortal
When you select this item in your inventory it says “A relic, once carried by Martanos hilself, that can be used to activate altars in Mount Zavain” and then also gives you the option to destroy it. So even though it mentions about Zakarum Sigil use that you can use them to activate altars in Mount Zavain but you shouldn’t do that right away because you will simply waste your Zakarum Sigil that way. Other than that it also gives you the option to destroy it, which you obviously shouldn’t do.

The reason i said you will just waste your sigil if you use them right away is because they need to used for a specific purpose at a very specific time. In order to use your zakarum sigil in the correct way you need to wait for a world event called “Ancient Nightmare”. This world event or zone trial can be completed at Mount Zavain every Wednesday and Friday at 12 PM, 8:30 PM and 10 PM server time. Note that you need to change difficulty to Hell 1 after reaching level 60 in order to get this event.
In this event you need to defeat a huge monster called Ancient Nightmare with the help of other players at the zone. This monster has a really strong shield which not only protects him but also deals damage to the players around him. The only way to weaken his shield and also stun him for sometime is to activate the altars using zakarum sigils. Once his shield is weakened, you can then deal damage to him. Make sure to activate an altar only when Ancient Nightmare is in it’s range otherwise you will just waste your sigil.
You should also know that activating only 1 altar will not get your job done. Each altar emits his shield weakening aura for a small period of time only so you might need to activate many altars in order to fully break his shield. This means you will need multiple Zakarum Sigils in order to defeat him easily. So make sure to keep a few sigils with you before attempting this event.
