This is the phase in which skarn makes 4 clones of himself making it hard to find real skarn. He enters this phase when he has about 33% HP left. Before this phase his main and also the most dangerous attack is laser beam in which he shoots a linear beam with his hands and also rotates in clockwise or anticlockwise direction at the same time. Due to this, the beam almost chases you quite fast and quickly drains your HP.

If you try to run away from this beam in a linear direction then you won’t be able to survive. You should also not try to attack Skarn while he is shooting the laser beam. At this point all you need to do is escape or dodge the beam, but you might be thinking how to do this? Well, the best and the easiest way to dodge his beam attack is to just stay behind and close to Skarn. In fact, you should try to stay and attack skarn from behind throughout the whole fight, not only when he is using his beam attack. If you always stay behind him then you will take the least possible damage.

Now let’s know about his “Find and Destroy Skarn” phase. He enters this phase when he is left with about 200,000 HP in which he makes 4 duplicates of himself. Out of the four clones, 1 is the real Skarn. If you quickly find skarn and beat him then he will return into his original solo state. But the question is how to find real skarn?

How To Find Real Skarn In Diablo Immortal

So now let’s find out how to find Skarn out of the 4 choice you get. There are few more things you need to know about “Find and Destroy Skarn” phase before you could find real Skarn. Below you can learn about them.

Each of the 4 Skarn clones have exactly 36,362 HP and you have only 8 seconds to identify and beat the real skarn. If you did it within 8 seconds then skarn will instantly come out of this phase and return into his original form, after which you can start attacking him again. However if you couldn’t identify the real one or beat the wrong skarn in those 8 seconds then the countdown will start again.

In this way the 8 seconds countdown will take place 3 times and every time the position of real skarn might change. It’s also possible that you might be attacking the wrong skarn and when the countdown starts again, the real skarn might spawn at that wrong skarn’s place but you might go to another skarn, thinking that the current one is not the real one. In this way it becomes very difficult to beat him.

So how to find real skarn then? Well, It’s not as difficult as you might be thinking. It’s actually quite easy to find skarn and quickly beat him to turn him back into his solo state. There are actually two things you can do to escape or dodge skarn’s clones phase. Below you can learn about both of them.

1. You can easily identify the real skarn just by looking at the bottom of the clones. The real one will have a burning red circle underneath him. This circle is clearly visible, so all you need to do is quickly check for this circle as soon as the 8 seconds countdown starts and start attacking the one with this red circle. Since he will have only 36,362 HP so if you have good combat rating then you will easily be able to beat him within those 8 seonds.

2. Another thing you can do is simply don’t interact with the clones at all. The countdown appears 3 times only and Skarn will return back into his original state after these 3 countdowns are over. So you can simply stay near the top portion of the area (near his throne) till all 3 countdowns are over and wait for Skarn to come back to his original state. This is probably the best thing to do when he splits into 4 clones.

So you might have understood now that finding out skarn is not a necessity but it’s optional. The only benefit of identifying and beating real skarn is that you won’t have to wait for him to turn into solo form.
