Ancient Castle Havoc is the newest limited time event released with version 2.2.1 update in Survivor.io mobile game. This is a Halloween event which will be available for 7 days from 30th October to 6th November 2023. You will also get an extra day after the end of the event for exchanging rewards. This event gives you a great chance to obtain new outfits for King, Yelena & Common survivors together with all kinds of valuable rewards like Pet Chest Keys, S Supply Keys, Chaos Equipment, Survivor Shards and more. Survivor.io Ancient Castle Havoc
You can access this event by tapping on “Event Center” from right side column and then tapping on a button with spooky door with a spirit icon at Battle screen. You will now arrive at the main screen of Ancient Castle Havoc event. If this is your first time participating in any event in Survivor.io and you are unable to understand everything then don’t worry. I will explain you everything you need to know.
The very first thing you need to do is tap on “Obtained Pumpkin Key” button at bottom right side of the screen. Tapping on this button will display a list of tasks which you need to complete in order to obtain an event specific item called “Pumpkin Keys“. These keys are the main item in this event because you need them for opening the castle doors. Below you can find the complete list of tasks available in this event.
- Login for total of x Days
- Play Main Chapter stages x times
- Complete x Special Ops
- Defeat x monsters
- Quick Patrol x times
- Open x chests
Other than completing these tasks you can also obtain pumpkin keys by purchasing them with Gems. However they are quite expensive as each key costs 300 gems. In order to purchase keys with gems you need to tap on “+” button located right above “Obtained Pumpkin Key” button.
A special sale called “Ancient Castle Sale” is also available for the duration of this event. The sale includes various limited time packs. These packs includes pumpkin keys as well as various other items. You can access this sale by tapping on flying gift near the top at Battle screen.
After obtaining keys using the above mentioned ways you can tap on a door of your choice at event screen. You can find various types of rewards by opening these doors. Sometimes you might also find a purple colored ghost balloon which gives you nothing. Not only this but you can also find King behind some of the doors. When you find King, two more doors will be opened as a bonus, without costing you any keys.

Every time you open a door you will see a Ghost or Spirit showing up at some of the already opened doors. By finding the ghost you don’t only head to the next floor of the castle but you can also claim rewards located at the top bar of the event. Note that the ghost is not located behind a specific door and he keeps changing it’s position every time you open a door. This makes it kinda hard to find him.
Whenever the ghost shows up at opened doors you will find arrow around him. Some of the arrows will be highlighted while some will be greyed out. By carefully following these arrow trails you can find the door behind which the ghost is hidden. If you couldn’t check the arrows properly then don’t worry because the ghost with these arrow trails shows up every time you open the event screen.
While opening the doors you may also run into some of the ancient castle’s residents. These residents may grant you special effects which can greatly help you in completing event tasks as well as other game modes. However these residents are a little rare to find so you may need to spend a lot of keys to find them.
The most important thing you need to obtain from behind the doors are Candy. This is because you can exchange these candies for main rewards of the event by tapping on “Claim Reward” button at event screen. Below you can check the complete list of rewards which you can get by exchanging candies.

An additional way to get reward from this event is by switching to “Clan Progress” tab at “Exchange” screen of the event. These rewards can be claimed as your clan members find ghosts in their game event. Therefore its important to join an active clan because they can get your even more rewards from events.
