Gary is a special pet in Survivor.io mobile game. You might probably already know him from Spongebob animated series where this snail can be seen as Spongebob’s pet. Well, he is no different in the game as well because here also he can be used as your pet, even if you don’t play as Spongebob. How To Get Gary In Survivor.io
Before learning about how to get Gary first let’s get to know some important details about him. Gary is an Excellent rarity pet in the game by default. This means you can’t get him in Normal, Good or Better rarities. Another unique thing about him is that he has an exclusive and permanent assist skill, which you can learn about below in this post.
His main/active skill is called “Slime“using which he leaves a trail of corrosive slime when moving to deal 200% ATK Damage/0.5 seconds. The slime trail lasts 4 seconds and it’s damage also increases by 25% when your character levels up. In order to benefit from this skill you need to keep moving your survivor otherwise Gary will remain stationary and won’t release the trail.
His exclusive assist skill is called “Raid” which increases ATK and Skill Damage of the deployed pet by 6%, for every 5 levels the survivor gains in a battle. This assist skill also provides a bonus trait which decreases cooldown of the deployed pet by -10%. Note that this 10% reduction is fixed and does not increase with survivor’s level.
Now let’s learn about his “Deploying Skills” which are basically passive skills and only get activated when using Gary as pet in a battle. His first Excellent grade deploying skill is “Inspiration” which increases owner’s Crit Damage by 6%. The other one is “Guard”which increases owner’s Collision Damage Reduction by 10%.
The next two Deploying Skills which can be activated by evolving this Snail to Epic grade are “Advanced Motivation” and “Advanced Tough Skin”. Advanced Motivation increases owner’s Crit Rate by 4% and Advanced Tough Skin reduces pet’s damage taken by 40%.

His legendary Deploying skill which can be activated by evolving Gary to red background is called “Super United Effort”. This skill increases pet’s inherited HP by 20% which simply means it will help Gary to survive a little more in a battle. Frankly speaking, you won’t get any extraordinary benefit by evolving Gary to legendary grade as his legendary skill is quite basic and kind of disappointing.
After learning about all these important details, now it’s time to learn about how to get Gary in Survivor.io game. In order to know that you need to remember that Gary is a special pet who was released in Spongebob event called “Deepsea Survivor”. In this event you could obtain Gary the Snail by exchanging 600 Krabby Coins.
The great thing is that he wasn’t really difficult to obtain and could easily be unlocked as a Free to Play player just by participating in the event everyday. However the event is now over and most probably you won’t be able to get him anymore, even in the future. This is because special characters like these are almost never re-released after their special event, in most of the games.
