Epic and Legendary Pets are the most strongest pets you can get in Survivor.io mobile game. Epic pets can be identified by their yellow or golden background while legendary pets can be identified by red color background. Everyone wants to get them because they have additional skills unlocked as “Deploying Skills” which makes them a lot stronger than lower grade pets. How To Get Epic Pets In Survivor.io
Epic pets are the second most powerful pets in the game. They have much more ATK and HP stats by default because they inherit 50% of both these stats from your Survivor. Other than that they can also be leveled up higher than Excellent pets. Last but not the least, as mentioned before they have total 4 extra skills unlocked as Deploying skills which gives you various benefits when you deploy these pets.
After learning about the benefits of deploying a yellow pet, now it’s time to learn about exactly how to get them in the game. Right now the only way to get epic pets is by using the Evolve feature at Pets screen. But i am sure that soon you will also be able to get them from limited time special events which are released frequently in the game.
However one thing you should know is that evolving pets to epic or legendary is slightly different than getting similar grade equipment by merging. Pets actually have a category or type and each pet belongs to a specific category. You can find out the category of a pet by checking the symbol at their top left. Below you can check which pets belong to the same category or type.
- DD-6 (Robot) and Rex (Dog) belong to the same category
- Neemo (Fish) and Shelly (Tortoise) belong to the same category
- Murica (Bird) and Crabobble (Crab) belong to the same category
- Cheshire (Cat) and Croaky (Frog) belong to the same category
Currently there are only 8 pets but more pets might probably be released in future. In that case make sure to check their category as mentioned above. You might be wondering why did i mentioned about these categories then the reason is that without understanding it you won’t be able to evolve your pet to Epic grade. At some point while evolving you will need pets from the same category. Step 1. Combine 2 Normal grade copies of your pet with your main (Normal) pet to evolve into a Good grade pet.
Step 2. Combine 2 Good grade copies of your pet with your Good pet to evolve into a Better grade pet.
Step 3. Combine 2 Better grade copies of your pet with your Better pet to evolve into an Excellent grade pet.
Step 4. Combine your Excellent pet with 1 Excellent pet of same category to evolve into Excellent +1 pet.
Step 5. Combine your Excellent +1 pet with 2 Excellent pets of same category to evolve into Excellent +2 pet.
Step 6. Combine your Excellent +2 pet with 1 more Excellent +2 copy of your pet to evolve into an Epic pet.
How To Get Legendary Pets In Survivor.io
After learning the complete steps for evolving from Normal to Epic, now it’s time to learn about getting Legendary pets. These are the most powerful pets you can get in the game because they have all deploying skills unlocked. On top of that they have the most ATK and HP by default because they inherit a massive 60% of these stats from your character. Of course they can also be leveled up the most to gain more ATK and HP.

In order to get Legendary pets or red pets you first need to follow the 6 steps mentioned above. Once you have evolved your pet into an Epic pet you then need to follow 4 more steps mentioned below to finally evolve your pet into a Legendary pet. So let’ check out those 4 more steps.
Step 7. Combine your Epic pet with 1 more Epic pet of same category to evolve into Epic +1 pet.
Step 8. Combine your Epic +1 pet with 1 more Epic pet of same category to evolve into Epic +2 pet.
Step 9. Combine your Epic +2 pet with 1 more Epic pet of same category to evolve into Epic +3 pet.
Step 10. Combine your Epic +3 pet with 2 Epic grade copies of your pet to evolve into a Legendary pet.
How To Get Epic & Legendary Pets Fast
In order to get these high grade pets fast, the best thing you can do is try to get more Excellent grade pets directly. This way the evolving process will become shorter because you won’t be starting with a lower grade pet. You just need a little bit of luck to obtain Excellent pets of required type from pet chests and Events.
