However i am quite sure that sooner or later developers will make it possible to sell items in the game. Most probably we will be able to get gold by selling equipment. They might not allow to sell designs or provide gems in exchange of selling gears, but obtaining gold by selling items seems possible. So don’t be surprised if a new “Sell” button is added in future updates, anywhere among the Equip, Level up and Max level buttons of an equipment.
One more thing to remember is that gold is not actually that hard to obtain in the game. You will need the most gold around the beginning when you need to clear the first several chapters. Later on you will be left with abundance of gold and won’t even be able to spend it. So it’s also possible that soon they might add new mechanics or features which might require you to spend gold.
