How To Beat The Reak In Warcraft Rumble
The Reak doesn’t have any extraordinary mechanic and is not actually a hard boss, he is just really annoying. He takes really low damage and can absorb your units inside him to beat them immediately. He takes damage based on the remaining HP of the units it absorbs.
This means if you get successful in taking your high HP units to him then you can deal a good amount of damage. However it might not be that easy for your units to reach him with a lot of HP as you frequently keep getting attacked with various enemy troops.
In order to beat him the first thing you need to know is which path you need to take so that your units could reach The Real with as much HP as possible. The area of this boss is quite large as well as complicated and you can take many paths to reach him.
However the best way is to destroy and capture the Guard Tower located at the center of the area. This way you will get a spot where you can deploy your units closer to The Reak. In order to capture this tower you will need to take the right side path, where you will need to beat quite a few enemies.
So as soon as the game begins, deploy a powerful unit like Cairne Bloodhoof together with some flying units like Bat Rider, Gryphon Rider, Harpies etc. When these units are about to reach the Guard Tower you can deploy Quilboar behind the tower so that you could turn any enemies there towards him. This way you will be able to capture the tower easily.
Make sure to also keep an eye on enemies coming from the other side and defend your base from them. These enemies are mostly ground units like Prowler, Warsong Raider etc. and the best way to beat them is to deploy flying units like Harpies, Bat Rider etc.
Once you have captured the tower then just keep deploying your units there. This way you will also be able to stop any enemies from going towards your base. An important thing to remember is that you need to keep patience while fighting this boss as he will take small amounts of damage by absorbing your units.
You can also use Unbound units like Earth Elemental, Skeleton Party, Skeletons, S.A.F.E. Pilot etc. and deploy them directly next to The Reak and deal most damage. There is a good chance that the battle might reach Overtime but you should just keep deploying units and you will eventually win.
That’s basically all you need to do and you will be able to complete this mission. If you are wondering about which other Minis you need to use then here is the full list of units i used for The Real – Defias Bandits, Quilboar, Gryphon Rider, Bat Rider, Harpies, Pyromancer with Cairne Bloohoof as leader. Of course if you don’t have some of these Minis then no worries, just use other equivalent or better ones.
