Path of Trials is a new game mode released with version 2.4.1 update in Survivor.io mobile game. If you don’t see this mode in your game yet then make sure to update your game from Google Play or iOS app store. Survivor.io Path of Trials
Path of Trials mode doesn’t seems to be available to new players by default, which means you need to clear a certain number of chapters to unlock this mode. The exact number of required chapters is not known but you should just keep clearing chapters and you will eventually unlock it.
One you are eligible to get this mode you will get a full screen notification on your screen that a new feature called “Path of Trials” is now available to play. You will then be able to access it from “Trials” screen where you will find it at the top of other game modes like Main Challenge, Mega Challenge and Zone Operation.
The description of Path of Trials mentions “Brave and resolute Survivors, embark on the endless Path of Trials!” So according to the description this mode is for mid to advanced players and it also has no end which probably means that it’s difficulty will keep increasing (together with rewards) as you keep clearing trials.
In each Trial you might need to face new kind of challenges. However these are all my own thinking for this mode as it is not yet functional in the game. When you try to play this mode by tapping on it at Trials screen you will get a notification that a certain number of days are still left for this mode to be available in the game.
Overall Path of Trials seems to be a really fun and interesting game mode in Survivor.io game.
