Worm is the fourth character or survivor released in Survivor.io mobile game. He is a powerful character with unique skills which are extremely useful specially in Ender’s Echo mode. Worm character was available during Season 3 where you could get him by purchasing the Premium Pass. If you couldn’t get him at that time then no need to worry. Survivor.io Worm Skill & Guide
Before learning about how to unlock Worm, first let’s get to know some important details about him. The bio of this cool survivor says “A clandestine merchant of information. Always masked and uses a voice changer. So mysterious to the point that even the EDF’s files have nothing on him. Worm moves between large organizations, peddling information for a living. It’s said that for the right price, he can obtain even the moon base’s top secret files.”
Just like other survivors, Worm also has 3 skills which can be unlocked by upgrading him using Worm shard. I will tell you exactly how to get Worm Shards to upgrade your Worm survivor soon in this post so just continue reading further. Below you can learn about all his three skills.
- Listening Bug – This is the 1 star skill of Worm which unveils enemy weaknesses and increases their damage taken.
- Cash Trade – This is Worm’s 3 star passive skill which greatly reduces collision damage and also slightly increases projectile damage.
- Sting Op – By unlocking this 6 star skill, Listening Bug can be upgraded to Sting Op. You can raise Sting Op meter to force enemies to retreat.
Below you can learn about all the stat bonuses or effects you can unlock by leveling him up to specific levels. The last bonus stat is specially the best one so try to level up your Worm to level 100 as quickly as possible after unlocking him.
- Level 20 – Survivor HP +1000
- Level 40 – All survivors HP +5%
- Level 60 – Survivor ATK +600
- Level 80 – All Survivors Revival Effect +5%
- Level 100 – Survivor Attack +1000
And now let’s check out what stat bonuses do you get by upgrading Worm to different stars. Just like with levels, the last upgrade at 6 Star is the most strongest one. So try to upgrade Worm to 6 Star as fast as possible.
- 1 Star Upgrade – Default Upgrade, activates Listening Bug skill as mentioned earlier
- 2 Star Upgrade – Unlocks “Survivor License” which gives Survivor Attack +100, Survivor HP +500
- 3 Star Upgrade – Unlocks “Cash Trade” skill as mentioned earlier
- 4 Star Upgrade – Unlocks “Advanced Survivor License”, gives Survivor Attack +500, Survivor HP +2500
- 5 Star Upgrade – All Survivors Attack +4%
- 6 Star Upgrade – Unlocks “Sting Op” skill as mentioned earlier & Survivor Attack +20%
Survivor.io Listening Bug Evolution
A lot of players seems to be confused about Listening Bug Evo. They want to know how to evolve Listening Bug because they can’t seem to find any skill which could evolve it. They wonder if Listening Bug evolution is even possible in the game? Well, before answering that let me clear another confusion which most players are suffering from. Just continue reading further to know about it.
A lot of players believe that Listening Bug actually increases your Attack due to which enemies are killed faster. But let me tell you that it’s not really the case. Listening Bug skill actually weakens the enemies around him, which is kind of like weakening or reducing their armor (although there is no armor in the game). Since they become weak due to the skill effect, they take more damage and thus get killed faster.

Now let’s come back again to the main question of this section, i.e. Listening Bug evolution. If you are wondering why can’t you find any Supply skill which could evolve this skill then it’s because it doesn’t exist. Unlike other skills, you can’t evolve it into another one to make it more powerful. You can only upgrade it to 5 star and that’s it.
However there is another thing you can do to make it more powerful and that is Listening Bug upgrade. You can upgrade Worm to 6 Star and unlock Sting Op skill. This skill is an upgraded version of Listening Bug which also forces enemies to retreat, basically a knockback effect.
How To Get Worm In Survivor.io
Now it’s time to learn about how to unlock Worm in Survivor.io game. You can get him in two ways, which is either purchase him with money or unlock him using 80 Worm Shard. He is extremely expensive to buy so i suggest collecting 80 shards to unlock him. There are four ways available in the game using which you can get Worm shard or Random Survivor Shard. I suggest using these ways to collect 80 shards and unlock him for free. Below you can learn about all these 4 ways.
1. The first way to get Worm shard is by using Special Ops coins. You can get these coins by playing in Special Ops daily event. This event is not only a great way to get shards, but also gems, gold, tech parts, energy essence and more items. 2. Ender’s Echo is another great way to obtain Worm Shard. Here you can claim chests by playing in Ender’s Echo mode for a certain number of times. Some of these chests also contain a random survivor shard which can also be a Worm Shard. This mode is also a great way to get Energy Essence which is required for leveling up your survivors. 3. There is one more way inside Ender’s Echo using which you can get Worm shards and that is from Ranking Rewards. These rewards can be claimed by up to 9999th rank players so you are guaranteed to get at least 1 shard even if you don’t play actively. However the better your rank, more Worm shard you can get. So try your best to achieve highest ranking.
4. The last way to get worm shard is through limited time special events. The game frequently keeps releasing new events which are one of the best ways to get all kinds of valuable items in the game. Therefore make sure to definitely participate in limited time events to get more Worm shard and other items.
