How To Add Friends In Survivor.io

First let’s learn about adding friends in Survivor.io game. In order to add friends you first need to tap on “My Friends” button located at right side at Battle screen and then tap on “Add Friend” button. You can now add friends in two ways. You can either add random players suggested by the game Or you can directly enter the name or Player ID of a player you want to add as friend.

Adding randoms is pretty easy, all you need to do is tap on Refresh button to get a new list of players. After that just tap on “Request” button in front of any player’s name to send him a friend request. Once the player accepts your request he/she will then be added as your friend. You can also find a “Request” tab at the bottom of Add Friend screen where you can find notifications about players who have sent you a friend request. You can either accept or ignore the requests from there.

For adding a friend using name or Player ID, that friend will need to send you his/her name or ID first. Name and Player ID both can be obtained from “Player Details” screen which can be opened by tapping on your Avatar at top left corner in the game. There you will be able to see your name at the very top of the screen and your Player ID right underneath your name. If you have never chosen a name before, the game should have assigned you a random name. You can change that random name by tapping on the Edit button in front of it.

So using the above mentioned way your friend can find his/her game name or player ID and send it to you using whatsapp, discord, email etc. You can then enter his details at “Add Friend” screen inside “My Friends” to add him as your friend. The benefit of adding friends is that you can receive 1 energy from each friend and also gift 1 energy to them everyday. You can get up to 10 energy per day from friends.

You will find 2 arrow buttons in front of each of your friends in the list. The first button is for receiving energy from the friend and the second one is for gifting 1 energy to him. The energy you gift is not deducted from your account so no need to worry about that. Instead of tapping both these buttons for all friends daily, you can simply tap on “Claim & Receive All” button to send and receive energy from all friends in 1 tap.

If you find only 1 button in front of any friend then it means he/she has not gifted you energy. If you find someone not gifting you energy frequently then you can remove him from friends. In order to do that simply tap on his/her name in the list and tap on “Remove Friend” button. Make sure to have at least 10 active friends to receive up to max 10 energy per day. Note: Keke is a bot friend or NPC who will gift you 1 energy everyday and can’t be removed from your friends list.

How To Play With Friends In Survivor.io

Now it’s time to learn about Co Op or how to play with friends in Survivor.io game. Before learning the steps it’s important to know that you can only play with friends at some separate stages specially made for Co op. Right now you can’t play with friends in the Main Chapter Stages, Main Challenges, Mega Challenges etc.

Before learning about the actual steps there is one more thing you should know. Currently you can play with only 1 friend and most importantly both of you should be on the same Wifi or Mobile Hotspot. Co op mode has recently been implemented in the game and developers are working on improving and expanding this feature in upcoming updates. Till then you can play with friends in private rooms hosted by a friend or by creating your own.

In order to play with a friend you first need to tap on “Local Co-op” mode at Trials screen. Now tap on the big “Create Room” button to host a room. This will display your Room IP which you can copy to your clipboard by tapping on Copy button in front of IP. Your friend should now see the room created by you in his game under “Room List” which he/she can now join. If for any reason he is not able to see the Room then you can share your Room IP with your friend which he can enter and tap on “Join” button to locate the room and join it.

Once both of you have joined the room you will be able to choose from 10 Local Co-op stages to play in. By playing with your friends in Co op for a specific number of times you will also be able to get an avatar Frame and different outfits as rewards.

Also, if you want to know whether it’s possible to play with 20 friends you have in “My Friends” list then let me tell you that right now it’s not possible to do so. However i am sure that you will be able to play with those friends as well after developers have expanded this feature further. So have just little more patience.

Co Op Not Working In Survivor.io

There are many players who complain that Co op is not working for them. Remember that there could be different reasons for it and you need to figure out the reason and fix that to successfully co op with a friend. Below you can learn about different possible reasons for co op mode not working.

1. The first possible reason is that the game version of both players might be different. It’s important for the joining player to have the same game version as the host. So it’s best that both players simply visit the play store or app store to update the game to the latest version and then try again.

2. Both players must also be on the same network to be able to connect successfully. So make sure to verify that both of you are connected to same Wifi or Mobile hotspot.

3. Make sure the Host of the Room has not enabled both Hotspot and Wifi at the same time

4. Check if the game’s (Local Network) permissions are on (ensure that your mobile device can be accessed in the network)

5. One more requirement is that both players must have cleared Main Chapter 10 in the game. So if any of you have still haven’t cleared it then make sure to clear it first and then try to connect again.
