Tech Parts are really powerful stat boosting items in Survivor.io mobile game. They can be equipped to not only boost your basic Attack and HP stats but to also improve or modify different weapon skills. Equipping the correct tech parts can be game changer and can help you clear chapters which you might be stuck at. However a lot of players have no idea about how to unlock and use tech parts, how to get more of them etc. In this tech parts guide i am going to tell you everything you need to know about Tech Parts in Survivor.io game. So let’s check it out!
How To Unlock & Use Tech Parts In Survivor.io
The very first thing you need to know is how to unlock and use tech parts in the game. If you can’t find tech parts anywhere in your game then don’t worry because that’s normal. Tech parts are not accessible from the beginning of the game, you need to progress and complete a few chapters in order to unlock it. To be more precise you need to clear Chapter 5 (City Bridge) and then play Chapter 6 (Suburbia) at least once in order to unlock tech parts feature. This means you will need to complete the first 5 chapters without the help of tech parts.
Once the Tech Parts feature is unlocked you can access it from the top of your character on “Equipment” screen. You will then find a Tech Tree in which you can equip total 6 tech parts. The 3 tech parts at left of the tree are attack type and basically boost your ATK while the 3 on the right are defense type and boost your HP.
Tech Parts function quite similar to equipment as both of them boost a specific stat (ATK or HP) and also have grade skills which can be unlocked by upgrading to higher grades. However there is one main difference in the looks of equipment and tech parts. Equipment have an icon in the center and a small symbol at top left which denotes in which slot it can be equipped.
Tech Parts on the other hand have it’s icon in the center and two symbols at top left and right sides. The symbol at the left denotes if it’s an Attack type of Defense type tech part while the symbol at right shows which weapon skill can be enhanced using that tech part. Like in the image below you can see a flare like icon at top left and Molotov icon at top right which means this Energy Diffuser tech part boosts attack and enhances Molotov.
If you want to know how to use tech parts then all you need to do is just tap on an empty slot in Tech Tree and choose the part you want to use. If you have already equipped a tech part then simply tap on that part in the tech tree and tap on replace button to choose from available tech parts and equip them.
How To Merge Tech Parts In Survivor.io
Just like equipment, tech parts can also be merged to increase stats and improve their grades. In order to merge tech parts simply tap on Tech Parts button above your character on “Equipment” screen and then tap on “Merge” button at bottom of the screen. Here you will find all the tech parts which can be merged. Note that in order to merge a tech part you will need 3 duplicates of it so for example you will need 3 good grade Energy Collector to merge and get a Better grade Energy Collector.
Tapping on a tech part on merge screen automatically selects the two other duplicates of it so you won’t need to manually tap on all 3 parts. You can also filter the tech parts based on their type (Attack or HP) and can also find a “Merge All” button to automatically merge all qualifying tech parts in one tap.

To be able to get higher grade tech parts you will obviously need a lot of them so that you could merge them to turn them into higher grades. So below you can find all the ways available in the game to get tech parts.
1. Daily Challenge – This is currently the main and best way to get tech parts in Survivor.io game. You can get tech parts in two ways from this mode, first is by clearing the challenge two times per day and second by claiming daily challenge chest rewards. More chests you claim more tech parts you can get. I highly recommend checking out my Daily Challenges guide to learn tips, tricks and everything you need to know about them.
2. Daily Shop – This section can be found in Game Shop and it includes various items which are refreshed everyday. The list of items also contains 1 normal, good or better grade tech part which can be purchased using gems. The normal tech part costs 30 gems, good grade part costs 90 gems and the better grade tech part can be purchased using 270 gems.
I personally won’t recommend purchasing tech parts from daily shop. The main reason being you will get a random tech part and not the one you want. So you might not get the part you want even after spending gems. That’s my personal opinion so it’s up to you if you want to spend gems for purchasing them.
3. Discount Shop – After the recent update you can find 3 types of discounts in Discount Shop which are Daily Pack, Weekly Pack and Monthly Pack. All these packs allow you to claim a free pack every day, week and month just by watching an Ad. The free Monthly Pack includes a random parts crate which can give you an Excellent grade tech part for free. So make sure to claim this pack every month for a free Excellent tech part.
These 3 are the only ways to get tech parts in the game right now. The best way is to grind daily challenge mode everyday and most importantly beat the last boss you encounter in the mode. This will allow you to claim additional tech parts from daily challenge chests. Just keep playing everyday and they will add up fast.
