Modular Mine is a newly added weapon skill in version 1.6.0 update in Survivor.io mobile game. After getting this weapon skill you will be able to place mines at random spots (you can’t place them manually). How To Evolve Modular Mine In Survivor.io
The first step required in order to evolve any weapon is to upgrade it to 5 stars by selecting it’s skill at level up. So in order to evolve Modular Mine you will need to get it to 5 stars first. Below you can check what boosts do you get every time you level up your Modular mine.
- 1 Star – Places a mine in nearby area that explodes when triggered
- 2 Star – Places +1 mine
- 3 Star – Mine damage doubled
- 4 Star – Bigger explosions
- 5 Star – Places +1 mine
So you can see the benefit of upgrading or leveling up Modular Mine is that you will be able to place more mines and deal more damage with bigger explosions. However this is not the full potential of this weapon. To unlock the full potential you need to evolve it but this is where most players get stuck. How To Get Inferno Bomb In Survivor.io
Inferno Bomb is fire type evolution of Modular Mine. After evolving into Inferno Bomb you will be able to place large sized bomb at random spots which not only explode when triggered but also leave behind flames which keep damaging enemies for a small amount of time. These flames are quite powerful and keep dealing a lot of damage which doesn’t allow enemies to pass through them.
So how do you get this powerful Inferno Bomb in Survivor.io? Well, in order to get Inferno Bomb you need to obviously upgrade Modular Mine to 5 star but other than that you will also need a 5 star Molotov. As soon as you upgrade both these weapon skills to 5 star you will get Inferno Bomb as a skill choice on the very next level up.
Note that if you evolve Molotov into Fuel Barrel before your modular mine is at 5 star then Molotov will disappear and you won’t be able to get Inferno Bomb. So make sure not to evolve Molotov if you plan to get Inferno Bomb.

Thunderbolt Bomb is thunder or electric type evolution of Modular Mine. This evolution places large sized bombs at random spots which not only explode when triggered but also release 6 electric shocks in different directions which destroy the enemy they hit. Thunderbolt Bomb doesn’t acts as a barrier in enemies’ path instead it acts as a one time attack weapon.
In order to get Thunderbolt Bomb you need to get your Modular Mine to 5 star and then also get a 5 star Lightning Emitter. Once you get both these weapon skills to 5 stars you will get Thunderbolt Bomb as a skill choice on the very next level up.
As mentioned earlier, just like Molotov don’t evolve Lightning Emitter into Thunderbolt Power Cell otherwise you won’t be able to get Thunderbolt Bomb. Also, once you have evolved Modular Mine into any of these 2 evolution, 1 weapon skill slot will be freed up and you will be able to choose 1 more weapon to become even more stronger.
