The Overseer Room had been a secret room at Bunker Alfa in Last Day On Earth Survival game till now. But it can now be finally unlocked in version 1.6.9 update. In this post we are going to tell you how to unlock the Overseer room and also tell you about what you will find inside it. So let’s check it out!
How To Unlock The Overseer Room In Last Day On Earth
In order to unlock the Overseer Room you need to first save a “Specialist” from the 2nd floor of Bunker Alfa. This Specialist can be found locked and guarded by two toxic abominations at the last room of 2nd floor (the room next to terminal activator).
After you save him, he will run towards the Overseer room and unlock it for you. After you free him from the cage, he will start running towards the room and you might want to chase him, but no matter how fast you try, he will run faster than you and disappear. You don’t need to worry about this because it doesn’t matters.
After freeing him just go back to the overseer room and you will be able to open its door now. Now let’s see what are the things that you will find inside the Overseer Room.
1. The Specialist – You will find the character whom you just saved, standing there himself. He will be there to provide you various types of rare and most powerful guns or Floppy disks in exchange for 3 types of reputation items that you will give him.
2. Weapon Modification Spot – This is another spot inside Overseer Room where you can modify your regular Glock-17, M-16 and AK-47. You need to provide him some weapon parts, gun oil and your regular gun in order to obtain a modified version of it.

3. Tactical Terminal – This is a spot where you need to put the Floppy Disk obtained from the Specialist. It will then reveal a secret Co-ordinate (or location) on the global map where you can find some of the best items in the game inside a box. Remember, this secret location will be available on the map for 12 hours only, so make sure to collect your loot from there within that time frame.
4. Hard Mode Activation Center – This is the spot where you can activate the Hard Mode of Bunker Alfa. This is meant for high level players only because in hard mode all zombies will get less damage and become more difficult. You might need lots and lots of guns, food and armor to clear it.
However, in hard mode, zombies will drop reputation items which you can give to the Specialist in order to get rare weapons and floppy disks from him. Also, once activated it can not be reverted back to normal mode. You will need to wait for your Bunker to reset (after 2 days) in order to get the Bunker to normal mode.
