Recycler is a new machine added in Version 1.8.2 update in Last Day On Earth Survival game. This is one of the best and most useful workbenches you can craft in the game so make sure to build it as soon as you can. In this post we are going to show you how to craft and the correct way of using it. So let’s check it out!

Last Day On Earth Survival Recycler

You can recycle most of the items (but not all) inside a recycler to obtain new and rare items. It not only helps you free up space inside your chests and boxes by recycling broken or less useful items but at the same time it also helps you obtain new resources from your old broken ones. So let’s see how to build a Recycler first!

In order to build a Recycler you need 3 Oak Planks, 8 Iron Plates, 5 Aluminium Bars, 1 Light Bulb, 20 Bolts and 10 Rubber Parts. The good thing is that there is no need to finalize it, so you need only these items to build it.

After building it, you will find that there are 6 categories of items you can disassemble or recycle in it. These categories are – Clothes, Melee Weapons, Other, Mechanics, Electronics and Firearms. Each category has its own level and the type of item you disassemble in it will increase the level for that category.

Whenever you put an item in it, you have a possibility of getting anywhere form 1 to 3 items by recycling it. The 1st item has 40% chance by default, 2nd item has 5% and the 3rd slot will have 0% chance in the beginning. The 3rd slot has the chance of giving you the most rare items, that it why you need to level up the categories inside the Recycler to obtain the most rare resources.
