Deepsea Survivor Event is the newest limited time special event released in Survivor.io mobile game. This event will be available for 2 weeks from 22nd July to 5th August 2023. This event is unique and really special because you can get Spongebob Squarepants, his unique outfits, Squidward Tentacles, his outfits as well as a new pet Gary from it. You probably won’t be able to get these unique survivors ever after the end of the event that’s why you shouldn’t miss this chance. In this Deepsea Survivor Event guide i will tell you everything you need to know about this event together with really important tips. So let’s check it out!
Survivor.io Deepsea Survivor Event
You can access this event by tapping on “Event Center” button at right column and then choosing Pineapple under the Sea icon to open Deepsea Survivor Event’s main screen. You will now see 4 tabs on the screen which are Sign-in, Missions, Exchange and Pack. This event is actually quite simple, easy and really fun to play so you will enjoy this event a lot throughout it’s duration.
Through Sign-in tab you can claim your daily Krabby Coin, which is one of the two special exchange items for this event. By logging into the game and claiming your Krabby Coin every day for full 14 days of the event, you will be able to get total 190 Krabby Coins (if you are Free 2 Play). I highly recommend you not to miss a single day of the event and claim your coins everyday, i will explain the reason further in this post.
The next tab is “Missions” where you can tap on “Battle” button to fight Mr. Krabs and defeat him to get more Krabby Coin and Krabby Patty, which is the second special exchange item of the event. Note that you can battle Mr. Krabs only once per day and every time you defeat him, you will get up to 40 Krabby Coin and only 1 Krabby Patty.
On entering the battle stage of this mission you will get to play as SpongeBob SquarepPants who uses his Spatula to attack the nearest enemies. Squidward will also be there to help you but he won’t deal any damage to Mr. Krabs. He can only scatter and beat Anchovies who keep spawning at regular intervals. You can’t deal damage to these Anchovies so just try to stay away from them till Squidward beats them all.
However make sure not to get close to Squidward Tentacles as well because his music will make you dizzy. While in dizzy state you will lose control and start to move in opposite direction which also greatly increases your risk of colliding with Mr. Krabs and getting defeated. If you accidentally get in contact with Squidward then just tap and hold in the opposite direction of where you want to move, till the dizzy symbol is visible over your head.

Your aim is to get a little close to Mr. Krabs so that you could attack him with your Spatula while avoiding Squidward, Anchovies and Mr. Krab’s attacks. You can collect green diamonds scattered at the stage to upgrade your Spatula and increase it’s damage. Also, Squidward can’t deal damage to Mr. Krabs so it’s only you who needs to defeat him.
You will get Krabby Coin from Anchovies and 1 Krabby Patty from Mr. Krabs. An important thing you need to know is that you can get up to 40 Krabby Coin from each battle. So make sure not to beat Mr. Krabs before you have obtained all 40 coins, otherwise you will miss some of these valuable event item. You can check your obtained coins at top right of the battle stage.
Also, you don’t need to worry much about getting defeated while fighting Mr. Krabs. Seems like you can revive as many times as you want by spending 1 Revival Coin each time. For testing purpose i got defeated about 4-5 times and was able to revive every time. You will get the option to revive by either watching an ad or by using Revival Coins.
The next tab at event screen is “Exchange” where you can exchange your Krabby Patty and Krabby Coins for various rewards. Below you can check the complete list of rewards as well as the required number of Patty and Coins for claiming each of them.

- Squidward Pirate Hat – 2 Krabby Patty
- Squidward Pirate Attire – 2 Krabby Patty
- Squidward Pirate Hook – 5 Krabby Patty
- Lucky Purse x 1- 1 Krabby Patty
- Gary (Pet) – 600 Krabby Coin
- Krabby Patty – 100 Krabby Coin
- Underwater Sapphire x 10 – 300 Krabby Coin
- Underwater Sapphire x 1 – 30 Krabby Coin
- Underwater Ruby x 10 – 300 Krabby Coin
- Underwater Ruby x 1 – 30 Krabby Coin
- Gold x 1,000 – 1 Krabby Coin
According to me, the best rewards which you should claim at this Exchange tab are Squidward Tentacles survivor and Gary the pet. As a Free to play player, by claiming your daily Krabby Coins from sign-in and by defeating Mr. Krabs everyday for 14 days of the event, you will be able to get total 750 Krabby Coin and 14 Krabby Patty.
For getting Squidward you need 15 Krabby Patty so you need to exchange 100 Krabby Coins for 1 more Patty and then claim Squidward Tentacles survivor. You will then be left with 650 Krabby Coins. Now just use 600 of those coins to get Gary the pet. If you are F2P then it’s the best way to exchange your Coins and Patty in this event.
You might be wondering about SpongeBob. Do you only get to play as Spongebob in this event but can’t get him as a survivor? Well, you can also get SpongeBob SquarePants and add him to your survivors collection through this event. However the unfortunate thing is that he and his outfits can only be obtained by purchasing Mega Rewards at Sign-in tab of the screen. If you are free to play then there is no way to get him.
The last tab of the event is “Pack” where you can purchase event specific various packs to obtain gems, Krabby Coins and even Gary the pet. You also get to claim a pack for free by watching an ad. This free pack gives you 10 Krabby Coins, 20 gems and 10 Random Designs. Make sure to claim this free pack as well to get a little more coin.
