Sandy is the fourth special survivor from Spongebob series released with Deepsea Survivor event with version 2.4.1 update in Survivor.io game. She is different from most other survivors in the way that you can’t assign her a weapon of your choice, instead she has her own permanent weapon “Nut Lasso“. This means whenever you choose to play as Sandy you will also have to use her Nut Lasso as weapon. If you haven’t yet unlocked this special survivor and wondering how to unlock Sandy then no need to worry anymore. How To Unlock Sandy In Survivor.io
Before learning about how to unlock Sandy, first let’s get to know some important details about her. The bio of this new survivor says “A glorious squirrel, and a professional cowboy, A deepsea Survivor who can only use her own unique weapon”
In the last part of her bio it says “Only weapon stat bonuses are granted, not weapon effects when swapping weapons”. This means if you equip an Excellent +2 level 70 Kunai in weapon slot at Equipment screen which has 829 ATK and three of it’s Grade Skills unlocked then only 829 ATK will be active and grade skills effects won’t work while playing with Sandy.
This means you should choose a weapon which has highest ATK stat among all your weapons while playing with Sandy survivor. Since her Nut Lasso will acquire only the ATK stat of your chosen weapon and not the attack style and Grade Skills. Therefore you should prefer the highest ATK stat rather than the type of weapon.
Just like other survivors, Sandy also has 3 skills which can be unlocked by upgrading her using Underwater Quartz. I will tell you exactly how to get Underwater Quartz to upgrade Sandy soon in this post so just continue reading further. Below you can learn about all her three skills.
- Nut Lasso – This is Sandy’s 1 star skill or exclusive weapon using which she attacks enemies around her with a nut on a rope. Can be evolved into Invincible Bubble.
- Power Throw – This 3 star skill of Sandy increases the attack range of Nut Lasso by +25%
- Speed Bubble – This is Sandy’s 6 star skill which increases spin speed of Invincible Bubble by +20% and also increases damage by +25%
Below you can learn about all the stat bonuses or effects you can unlock by leveling her up to specific levels. The last bonus stat is usually the best one (for most survivors) so try to level up your Sandy to level 120 as quickly as possible after unlocking her.
- Level 20 – Survivor HP +1000
- Level 40 – All Survivors Crit Damage +5%
- Level 60 – Survivor ATK +600
- Level 80 – All Survivors Heal 5% HP when on level up
- Level 100 – Survivor ATK +1000
- Level 120 – All Survivors Crit Rate +5%

And now let’s check out what stat bonuses do you get by upgrading Sandy to different stars. Just like with levels, the last upgrade at 6 Star is the most strongest one. So try to upgrade her to 6 Star as fast as possible (however it’s not that easy).
- 1 Star Upgrade – Default Upgrade, activates Nut Lasso as mentioned earlier
- 2 Star Upgrade – Survivor Attack +100, Survivor HP +500
- 3 Star Upgrade – Power Throw, Nut Lasso attack range +25%, Survivor HP +20%
- 4 Star Upgrade – Advanced Survivor License, Survivor Attack +500, Survivor HP +2500
- 5 Star Upgrade – All Survivors HP +4%
- 6 Star Upgrade – Speed Bubble, Invincible Bubble’s spin speed +20%, damage +25%, Survivor ATK +20%
