When you tap on the “Next” button, an animation will be played and after that you will have a chance to get from 1 to 5 skills from the shown choices.
Remember that the weapon skills shown on the lucky train will only include the skills you have already obtained while leveling up, so the available skills on lucky train won’t include any new skills. This also means that lucky train provides you only upgrades for skills and doesn’t gives you any new skills. This is actually good because you would always want to choose the skills you want to use and not play with any randomly assigned skills.
Lucky Train often includes duplicates of different skills which allows you to upgrade a weapon skill faster, since you can get up to 5 skills or upgrades from a lucky train. This means if you have a weapon or weapon skill at 1 star before using lucky train then you have a chance to turn that 1 star skill to 3 or 4 star skill instantly with the help of lucky train, if you are lucky obviously.

You mostly get about 4 lucky trains while playing any stage and they appear in all game modes like main chapters, Trials challenges, daily challenges etc. In order to get these lucky trains you need to collect the treasure chest dropped by a Boss which spawns after certain interval (timing changes according to the game mode). In main chapters these bosses spawn every 5 minutes and while playing daily challenge they spawn every 2 minutes.

Another useful thing you need to know is that these treasure chest don’t only drop from main bosses but also from elite monsters. These monsters are much more stronger than normal enemies and they spawn at specific minutes in a stage. There are various types of elite monsters and you might encounter certain ones in specific game modes only.
How To Get 5 Upgrades On Lucky Train
A lot of players wonder if it is possible to get 3, 4 or 5 upgrades on a lucky train? What could be better than getting 5 upgrades every time you get a lucky train? Well, let me tell you that the skills and the number of upgrades you get after tapping on “Next” button is completely random. So tapping several times on the screen or doing any other unusual activity while the animation is playing won’t change the number of upgrades you will get. Since it totally depends upon your luck so just tap the button and move on with the skills you get.
However there is 1 trick which can be really helpful and you should know about it. The trick is that if you have a weapon skill at 5 star and you also have the supply skill for that weapon before using lucky train then you are guaranteed to get the evolution skill of that weapon from train. So for example if you have Lightchaser at 5 star and you also have Ronin Oyoroi then you are guaranteed to get Eternal Light from lucky train.
This trick can be useful in the way that if you have a treasure chest lying there then don’t immediately collect it. Wait till you get your weapon to 5 star and also get it’s supply skill. Once you complete both these requirements then just collect the treasure chest to instantly evolve your weapon.
