It is also good to know that he can not only spawn in a red zone but sometimes he can also spawn in yellow zones. Not only that, you might be shocked to know that sometimes you might find 2 or even 3 Big Ones spawning at once! What a nightmare! but it can happen.

So how do you avoid having an unpleasant spawn of The Big One? Well, although it is not 100% possible to avoid him every time but there are two things that can greatly decrease the chances of his spawn. You can learn about both these 2 points below.

1. Pine Wood Is More Dangerous – There are 2 regular red zones on the map, “Limestone Spires” and “Pine Wood”. The thing which you should know is that The Big One spawns more frequently in Pine Wood than in Limestone Spires. So if you want to farm wood and also want to avoid The Big One then visit the “Pine Grove” which is a yellow zone. It is closer to your base and also easier than the Pine Wood. Since its a yellow zone hence the big one will almost never appear here.

2. Check The Time – You might have noticed that the game has an in-game time of its own. If you visit a location during a night time then you have a higher risk of The Big One spawning in that location. You can check the time of the day on the loading screen when you enter a base. So if you notice that its night time then be aware that you might find The Big One on your trip.
