Red shirt icon over equipment is quite a mystery for a lot of players in Survivor.io mobile game. You might have noticed this red shirt at top right corner on some of your equipment. Red Shirt Icon In Survivor.io
You will sometimes find a small red shirt icon at top right corner of certain equipment in the game. They don’t actually only appear on your equipment but they can also be seen over the revolver symbol of Equipment tab, at the bottom of screen. This is to let you know that at least 1 equipment is available with red shirt icon, in case you are currently at any other tab.
So now the question comes, what does this red icon mean? how and why do they appear on your equipment in Survivor.io game? Well, don’t worry about it and just continue reading further because i won’t only tell you what does this icon mean but also exactly how or when they appear.
What Does Red Shirt Icon Mean In Survivor.io
Before knowing about what does this icon mean, first let’s get to know when and how does this red shirt appear on your gears. This red icon appears in only two cases, which can be found below.
1. When you get a higher grade equipment than your currently equipped one, either from shop chests or by the merge feature, you will see this red shirt icon on that new higher grade gear. So for example if you have equipped a Good grade Kunai and you get a Better or Excellent grade kunai or any other weapon from shop chest then you will see the red shirt icon over that new Better or Excellent grade weapon.
2. If you change your currently equipped gear with a lower grade equipment then the red shirt will appear on the gear you have just unequipped. So if you had equipped an Excellent grade Kunai but you change that with a Better grade Baseball Bat then the red shirt icon will appear on your Excellent grade Kunai.

So these are the two reasons due to which the red shirt appears on your equipment. You might now have probably also understood what does this icon mean. Well, the red shirt icon simply means that a higher grade equipment is available in your inventory and your currently equipped gear is not the highest grade in that equipment type. So you should switch your equipped gear with the equipment having red shirt icon.
Players generally forget to equip the best equipment they have specially when there are a lot of gears available in their inventory and they just get a higher grade equipment. So this red shirt icon reminds you that you should equip that higher grade gear.
You should also note that there can be cases where you should not necessarily equip the gear with red shirt icon. For example if you have a Better grade Kunai and you get an Excellent grade Shotgun, in that case you would obviously not want to equip the Shotgun even though it will show red shirt icon over it. The reason is quite obvious, Kunai is much better and stronger weapon than Shotgun.
