With the release of version 1.8 in Last Day On Earth Survival game, it is now possible to play together with real players or even your friends! This is something that most of the players were waiting for since the release of this game and it is finally possible now. In this post we will tell you how to play with your friends in the game. How To Play With Friends In Last Day On Earth Survival
Although multiplayer feature has been released in the game but still its in early phase. Therefore currently there is only 1 location where you can play with real players, and that location is the “Cluster of Anomalies” or Infected Zone. This location can only be accessed after unlocking the Sector 7 wall, to the far east on the global map.
At the Cluster of Anomalies location you can roam around with real players, collect anomalies and defeat zombie cocoons using your railguns for finishing the Sector 7 task and also chat with other players! These are all the things you can do with your friends right now.
As there are various sub sections inside this zone and each section can have a maximum of 30 players only. Hence you are not always guaranteed to be at the same section in which your friend is, but if you both try logging in at Cluster of Anomalies at the same time then you should have a higher chance to be placed in the same section.
Right now its too expensive to unlock the Sector 7 wall because it needs lots of rare resources, but there is a reason for that. As mentioned earlier, multiplayer has just been released and developers need to test various aspects of it like the server handling capacity, that’s why they have temporarily kept the amount of required resources extremely high, so that only a limited number of players could access the multiplayer location, this would allow them to test everything.
Developers have stated that they will soon reduce the resources required to unlock the wall hence we recommend you not to put in any of the items inside the wall unless you have everything available in your inventory or your base. Because if devs suddenly change the recipe in any of the upcoming updates then you will lose all the resources you have already put in there.
