Island Treasure Hunt is a new event released with version 1.0.11 update in Archero 2 mobile game. This event gives you an amazing chance to obtain shards of a new character called Otta together with Epic and Rare character shards and other valuable items. Archero 2 Island Treasure Hunt
The first and the most important thing you need to know is that Island Treasure is a permanent weekly event. This event runs every week from Monday to Sunday. Although this event is quite simple or straightforward but getting the best possible rewards might not be that easy. I will explain about it further ahead in this post so just keep reading.
This event can be accessed from top right column at Campaign screen. On entering the event you will find a beautiful board filled with points and two dice kept at the center. Your aim is to basically obtain Dice and then roll them using the big cube button at bottom center of the screen.
The numbers you get on rolling the dice is how many steps your character will move on the board. You will get some points based on the spot your character stops at. The points you obtain will fill up the Otta’s Treasure at the top which allows you to claim certain rewards at specific number of points obtained.
These rewards include Dice, Ruin Shovel, Gold, Random Gear Scroll and also a really valuable item called Golden Fleece Shard. This shard is used to unlock and upgrade Artifact Golden Fleece. The more Dice you roll, more points you will obtain and thus more rewards you will be able to get.
In order to obtain Dice for rolling you simply need to complete tasks located at top right of the screen. These tasks are quite simple and you won’t really need to put any extra effort in completing them. You can complete them by simply participating in different parts of the game.
You can also buy Dice from event shop where it is available through daily and weekly special packs. These packs include both dice as well as specific number of gems. You will also find an “Exchange Shop” tab at bottom right part of Shop screen. This is where you can obtain the best event rewards from.
The rewards include Otta Shards, Random Epic Character Shard and Random Rare Character Shard. In order to exchange for these rewards you need an event specific item called Treasure Coin. Obtaining this coin might not be that easy (specially for free to play players) as you need to be among some of the highest ranks (to be more specific, within top 100) at the end of the event every Sunday to be eligible for getting Treasure Coin.
You can find your current rank in the event by tapping on golden cup icon at top left of the event screen and then checking the bottom part at next screen. In order to check all ranking rewards you can just tap on “Ranking Rewards” button at top right on Points Ranking screen.
You will receive Treasure Coin or other rewards (depending upon your rank) through in-game mail at the end of the event. In order to increase your rank you need to obtain more points by rolling dice. Since you can obtain a limited number of dice as free to play therefore it could be hard to obtain a higher rank without spending money on dice.
