Soul Knight Prequel Lydite & Volcanic Hephaestite
Lydite is an ore in Soul Knight Prequel. Some information related to it is two volcanic rock areas bearing Lydite are located in the Yumen Volcanic Belt and Northern Tibet Volcanic Belt. Lydite, especially Lydite A is present in the sites of both the Qinghai Lake Basin and Qaidam Basin with relatively high frequency and rare in other regions.
Similarly in game Lydite ore has specific importance and is widely used and consumed to improve an item’s ability which improves either defensive or offensive stats of a player in Soul Knight Prequel. Once a player reaches level 8, he can get Lydite on various floors in the game.
There are also weapons and items that can be collected from either merchant, enemies, lockers and from moving across different places in the game. Every item is unique and it improves a player’s capabilities in terms of offence or defense.
Furthermore there are game tiers where a player can choose to upgrade to different tiers in the game. Once the player reaches the topmost tier he gets capabilities to improve his weapon or items power by using specific ores collected throughout the game. There are 3 types of ores in game.
The first one is Lydite – A coarse stone that can be given to Fariette Merchant to upgrade items levels and tiers. The other two ores are Weathered Hephaestite – Epic ore( A weathered lodestone that can be given to Fariette to reroll modifiers on equipment) and Volcanic Hephaestite.
Once we reach the highest tier, we can put different items collected in the game in the place where it says input items for Lydite being selected. We can view what powers can be increased for the item we selected in exchange for one Lydite item. If we use the ore our items capabilities are increased.
In game when we reach Chest Merchant it says following to collect Lydite item:
Here you can spend Chest Keys to open chests, each of which contains 5 random pieces of slot-corresponding equipment. Each piece has a 9.8% chance to be Legendary, and a 90.2 % chance to be non-Legendary (Common/ Charmed/ Rare).
Non-Legendary have a minimum 58.7% chance to be Rare or Charmed, and a minimum 21.9% chance to be Rare. 8% chance to obtain a Volcanic Hephaestite, 17% chance to obtain a Weathered Hephaestite. 25% chance to obtain a Lydite. 50% chance to obtain a Bullion.
Other that that, opening 10 chests is guaranteed to produce at least 1 Legendary equipment item. Legendary equipment is receivable upon completing corresponding dungeons.
