How To Get The Wolf Out In Last Day On Earth (Go Around The Camps)!

How to get the wolf out is one of the most confusing tasks for players in Last Day On Earth Survival game. You need to complete this task during “Go Around The Camps” mission which is the 3rd mission of Chapter 3 (Following The Hunters’ Trail) in Act 1. Although it’s quite simple and easy to complete this task but still many players struggle to get the wolf out. If you are one such player then don’t worry anymore. In this post i will tell you how to get the wolf out to complete the Go Around the Camps mission in LDOE. So let’s check it out!

How To Get The Wolf Out In Last Day On Earth

I will explain all the steps from the beginning of this mission so that you don’t get confused again. “Go Around the Camps” mission starts when you get a task called “Go To Pine Bushes” after completing Mission 2 of Chapter 3. So first you need to visit Pine Bushes to get started with this mission.

As soon as you enter Pine Bushes, you will get the first task called “Check the body“. In order to complete this task you just need to check the body of a dead survivor right in front of you. So just interact with the body to get a green colored message “The scene has been examined” on the screen and complete this task.

This will take you to the second task called “Find Clues” in which you need to find 4 clues at the location. These clues can be obtained by checking the bodies of dead wolves and soldiers at the area. You can easily find out the locations of these clues by checking the gear icons on mini maps. These gear icons denote the locations of the dead wolves, a soldier and the bones of an animal from whom you can find the clues.

Once you have found all 4 clues you will get the next task called “Wait for the Nighttime“. To complete this task you need to just follow the trail on the mini map to find a campfire near bottom right side of the area. You will find a Roaming Zombie near the campfire. Just sneak attack to kill him and then interact with a circle on the ground right next to the campfire to sit in front of it and that’s it. The task will then be completed immediately.

The next task will be “Defeat the Wolf” in which you need to defeat an Alpha Wolf who is feeding on a dead wolf around the center of the area. The Alpha Wolf has 200 HP so you can sneak attack him using a Saw Blade Mace and then just keep attacking using any melee weapon. He doesn’t deal any huge damage (just 12-15 damage in tier 2 armor) so don’t worry while fighting him. He will run inside his cave as soon as his HP goes below 100.

As soon as he runs back inside his cave, you will then get the task called “Get The Wolf Out“. The reason most players struggle to complete this task is probably because they don’t get a clear indication about what they need to do. You only see 0/2 mentioned underneath the task which just denotes you need to do something twice in order to get the wolf out and complete this task.

If you are stuck at this step then don’t worry because now i am going to tell you exactly how to get the wolf out. In order to complete this task you will need a Torch. You don’t need to bring a torch with you because you can get one from the storage near the dead survivor you had encountered right after entering the location. You can check the location of this storage in the image below. So just go back to the dead survivor and get your torch from the storage.

Once you have obtained the torch, go back to Alpha Wolf’s cave. You will find two spike like icons on the mini map close to the cave. These spike like icons are actually a pile of sticks and dead bushes around the cave. So what you need to do is just equip the torch and hit both these dead bushes one by one using the torch. You just need to hit them once or twice and they will automatically catch fire and then disappear in a couple of seconds and that’s basically all you need to do to complete this task.

Once you have burnt both dead bushes, Alpha Wolf will come running out of the cave and attack you. This time he will have 130 HP and again won’t deal any high damage. So just kill him using any melee weapon you want and it will complete the next task called “Finish The Wolf“.

You will now get the final task called “Contact the Hunter via Radio“. To complete this final task just follow the trail on the mini map which will again take you to the dead survivor and the storage from where you had obtained the torch. You will find the radio there. Just interact with the radio to get “Signal Sent” message on your screen and complete this last task.
