Death Strike, Latent Power & Dragon Power In Slayer Legend Explained!

Death Strike and Latent Power are two extremely important but kinda confusing topics in Slayer Legend mobile game. There are a lot of players who have no idea about how to unlock them or where to access them in the game. Even if they find these two, they have no idea about what they do or how they work. In this post i am going to tell you everything you need to know about Death Strike and Latent Power in Slayer Legend so that you could use them effectively to become more stronger. So let’s check it out!

Slayer Legend Death Strike Guide

First of all let’s learn about Death Strike in Slayer Legend. It’s a stat which is locked by default for all players. You will need to spend some time by playing the game for few days before you could unlock this stat. You actually need to upgrade your CRIT% to 100% (reach level 1,000) at Character screen to unlock two stats Death Strike and Death Strike %.

Now you might be wondering about what does both these stats do? So let me tell you that Death Strike basically multiplies your CRIT Damage. For example, if your Crit deals 50 damage and your Death Strike is 100% then it will deal 100 damage, which is insane. Note that since Death Strike is directly related to Crit Damage therefore you should focus on leveling up both these stats for best result.

The other stat Death Strike % is self explanatory. It determines your chances of executing a Death Strike. This stat can be upgraded to max level 1,000 at which point your Death Strike % will reach 100%. Note that leveling up Death Strike & Death Strike % consumes a lot more gold. So make sure to utilize different ways to get more gold in order to level up both these stats.

It might obviously take you a lot of time to max out both these stats since they consume too much gold. Death Strike % requires more gold than Death Strike. But remember that both these stats can make a big difference in your game as they greatly increase your damage so make sure to invest your gold in leveling them up.

Slayer Legend Latent Power Guide

Now it’s time to learn about Latent Power in Slayer Legend. You can access it at “Growth” tab on Character screen by tapping on a small blue colored orb, just underneath your level. If you are still confused about it’s location then check the image below.

Using Latent Power you can boost five specific stats in the game. These stats are denoted by the following short names – STR, HP, VIT, LUK and CRI. You can check which short name denotes which stat by checking the list at center of the screen.

In order to boost these five stats you first need to tap on any of the roman numbers (I, II, III, IV, V) near the top of the screen (you can see them marked in red outline in the above image). After that you can spend a resource called Dragon Power to get random points for the above mentioned five stats. You can roll up to 4 times only in each slot and you have a chance to get 0-5 points every time you roll. Each roll costs 500 Dragon Power which means you need total 2,000 Dragon Power for each slot to roll 4 times.

I recommend trying to get more points on STR (increases ATK), CRI (increases CRIT Damage) and LUK (increases Gold) since these are the most important and useful stats. If you are not satisfied with the points you get after all 4 rolls in a slot then you can also reset that slot using the “Reset” button at bottom right side of the screen. You will need to spend 1,000 Diamond or Dice to reset a Latent Power Slot. I recommend spending Dice for resetting the slot.

If the values you get on all 5 stats doesn’t seem a lot then note that all these values will keep increasing slightly with each level you get. So the more you level up your character, more you will be able to boost Latent Power stats.

How To Get Dragon Power In Slayer Legend

As mentioned above, you need Dragon Power to roll for points at Latent Power screen. Since there are 5 slots and each slot requires 2,000 dragon power so you need total 10,000 dragon power for all slots. On top of that if you reset a slot then you will again need to spend 2,000 DP. This means you need thousands of them in order to get your desired Latent Power values.

There are a lot of players who don’t know how to get Dragon Power in Slayer Legend. So let me tell you that it can be obtained by dealing damage to a Giant Dragon at “Shelter of Sleeping Flame”. You can access Shelter of Sleeping Flame only 3 times per day by going to Adventure screen and switching to “Dungeon” tab. If you don’t see this location at Dungeon tab then you need to level up your character more. So just keep leveling up and this location will soon be unlocked for you.

The giant ancient dragon is extremely powerful and it’s impossible to kill him. You can only deal him damage and the amount of Dragon Power you get depends upon the damage you deal. So the more damage you deal, more Dragon Power you will get. Dragon’s attack pattern is random and he can use 4 types of attacks.

If you are wondering about the best skills to deal most damage to him then here are the skills i personally use for him – Hot Blast (Great), Power Strike (Great), Flame Slash (Rare), Speed Sword (Rare), Iron Will (Epic), Hellfire Slash (Legendary) and Wind Sword (Epic).
