The reason this question suddenly arise in the community because of some recent mind blowing leaks of ancient and legendary toppings. These leaks were recently shared by a player, in fact some other sources had also shared them before which confirms these leaks are genuine. Ancient Toppings In Cookie Run Kingdom
As you know right now we have 3 types of toppings in the game – common, rare and epic toppings. But there are rumors that a new type of ancient toppings could be coming to the game. This is because a player found some sprites of toppings and other items in the game files of cookie run kingdom. He then shared the images of ancient swift chocolate, ancient solid almond, ancient bouncy caramel and ancient searing raspberry with the community. After these images were shared, there have been mixed response from the community. Some players are happy and excited from it while many players are worried because they might now need to obtain these new type of toppings and then grind hard to obtain lots of topping pieces to level them up.
Since leveling up epic toppings already consumes too much coins and topping pieces so you can imagine how many topping pieces will go into maxing out these ancient toppings. Also, players who have already invested too much items in maxing out their epic toppings are the ones who are most disappointed by this news. Since if they knew about these upcoming new toppings before, they would obviously not had invested their resources in epic toppings.
How Will Ancient Toppings Be Better Than Epic Toppings?
Since we have only seen images of these toppings and no other info was available (or found yet) in the game files so we can only speculate about their levels, effects etc. But i think ancient toppings will probably have 15 levels and 4 sub stats. May be they will also have some new stats exclusive to them? If that happens then it could be a game changing factor! However, remember that it’s all just speculation and nothing is confirmed.
It will also be interesting to see how we will get these new toppings. Will they be obtainable from some upcoming new episodes? may be they will also be obtainable from balloon expeditions? If world exploration stages will be their source then it obviously means new episode/s will also be added, which could be another great news!
When Will Ancient Toppings Release In Cookie Run Kingdom?
First you need to know, these leaks were obtained from game files by a user, so it’s not an official info. But it’s confirmed that the images are genuine because they were also obtained and shared by some other users sometime back. Another thing is, these images or sprites have been available in the game files since a long time (to be more specific, when Moon Rabbit cookie was added), so they are not something which developers decided to put in the game files recently.
So now all these could mean several things. May be developers have plans to release these new rarity of toppings in a future update. It’s quite possible because they recently also added a new rarity of cookies which is “super epic” so it should not be a big surprise if they also add these new rarity of toppings. So everything might already be planned and ready for these new toppings in game files and they will release soon when new episodes are added.
Another case could be they might still be deciding if they should add them or not. May be earlier they had plans but later on they decided not to add them and so these sprites could be removed from game files soon? It’s actually common to find various unreleased sprites, images, codes in game files which we never see in the actual game. If that is the case then we might never see these toppings in the game.
The best thing would be to just enjoy the current state of the game. They are regularly adding new content to the game so you shouldn’t yet worry about new toppings’ rarity. Sure they would announce it publicly if they have plans to release ancient toppings in the near future. If that happens then i will make sure to post about it.
