A great new feature to Save, Load, Restore, Empty, Store All your Kingdom layout has been added in version 2.9 update in Cookie Run Kingdom. This new feature makes it much easier to design and save various layouts of your kingdom and load any of them in just 1 tap whenever you want! In this post i will guide you about how this new feature works. So let’s begin!
How To Save and Load Kingdom Layout In CRK
In order to unlock this new feature you need to first reach Cookie Castle Level 5. Once you meet this minimum requirement you can tap on “Layout” button (just above “Build” button) to find a new “Layout Presets” button. Tapping on it will open the presets screen.
The very first thing you need to do is tap the “Save” button in the first (default) slot. This is very important because if you accidentally cleared everything in the beginning (without saving) then you won’t be able to restore your current layout so make sure you do this! You will get 2 slots for free and you can purchase up to 3 more slots using crystals and aurora items, so you can have up to maximum 5 slots. Just tap the “Add Slot” button and then “Buy” to get additional slots.
How To Empty Your Kingdom Using “Store All”
It’s much easier to plan and design your kingdom when it’s empty and luckily now it can be done in just few taps! Above the layout presets button you will find another new button which can be turned on and off. Just tap on this new button to activate it and find another new button called “Store All” at bottom right corner. Using it you can store all your buildings, decors and tiles in just 1 tap to empty your kingdom.

When you tap on it you will be asked to save your current layout first (as i already suggested earlier in this post). Assuming you have already done it, tap on Empty button. You will now be asked if you want to keep your Landmarks, production buildings and cookie houses or remove them as well.
You should Not remove your Landmarks and Cookie houses because you will stop getting buffs and EXP star jellies from them. Or if you remove them then make sure to place them back after designing your kingdom layout.
Your production houses will continue producing items or leveling up even if you store them but you will need to place them back when you want to claim items from them, So you shouldn’t remove them as well. Also, if you remove a building which is producing items then the cookie working in that building will also be temporarily removed from the kingdom (till the building has finished producing the items).
However you can store your Sugar Gnome Huts without any worries. Your sugar gnomes will stay in the kingdom and continue working even after storing their huts. So you can get rid of the huts to make a little bit of more space in your kingdom!
