Tower of Fantasy Claire’s Dream Machine
Dream Machine has a random chance to spawn while doing certain actions in the game (i will explain in more detail about these actions later in this post). A dream machine can be identified by a hologram which spawns exactly at the spot where the action was performed. As mentioned earlier, you get to play a mini game in this dream machine and there are various types of games included in this feature. However you can’t choose which dream challenge you want to play, it’s determined by the game itself when the dream machine hologram spawns. Below you can learn about some of mini games you can play in Claire Dream Machine.
- Memory Challenge – In this challenge you need to memorize and match various holograms within specified time.
- Power Challenge – Defeat the boss within the provided time limit.
- Collecting Challenge – A 2D platform mini game in which you must reach the destination while collecting items.
- Maze Challenge – In this challenge you must find your way out through a labyrinth. This can be one of the most complicated ones therefore players also look for dream machine maze map. However you don’t need any map because you can simply use Omnium Handcannon relic to create a platform from the floor and use it to reach the top of maze. You will now be able to clearly see the exit and run towards it from the top of maze to pass this challenge in least time possible.
- Control Challenge – Jump over platforms to reach the destination within time limit.
Other than the hologram at the location, these dream machines can also be seen on the map, after they spawn. Tapping them on the map displays all information about that particular Claire Dream Machine like which mini game you will get to play there and also how much time is left in auto destruction of that dream machine, yes they disappear from the location if you don’t complete them within time. Each dream machine lasts for 7 days so make sure to clear them before they expire.
A great thing about dream machines is that you don’t have only 1 attempt to clear the challenge. If you fail in the mini game and couldn’t achieve the target then you can play it again and again until you clear the challenge. The dream machine will stay at the location till it expires in 7 days or until you pass it.
One thing you should know is that each challenge must be completed within a time limit and the countdown starts as soon as you enter the challenge. This means you won’t get the time to check every single detail on the screen, you should just quickly read the main objective displayed on the screen and instantly start working. Therefore it’s important for you to tap the dream machine symbol on map before entering because there you will get to know what type of challenge you will get. This way you will be prepared before entering the challenge.
Dream Machine Location & Spawn Rate In Tower of Fantasy
Earlier i mentioned that Claire’s Dream Machines spawn on performing certain actions, what are those actions? Well, now i am going to tell you dream machine location or how to spawn them in Tower of Fantasy. There are three ways to spawn dream machines and below you can learn about all these ways.

1. Opening Supply Pods – Claire’s Dream Machines have a random chance to spawn on opening supply pods. After opening a supply pod just wait for 1-2 seconds to see if the hologram appears.
2. Opening Rusted Iron Chests – Whenever you open a rusted iron chest, you have a chance to spawn a dream machine. These chests can be found at random locations in the open world so make sure to look for them because they don’t appear on mini map.
3. Defeating Named Enemies – You also have a chance to spawn a dream machine when killing enemies with a name. You can also call them mini bosses because they are more stronger than the rest of enemies around them. The great thing about them is that they respawn every few minutes so you can keep killing them in order to force spawn a Dream Machine.
Some players complain that dream machine not spawning or appearing for them, no matter how many chests they open or named enemies they kill. Well, this is because of the weekly dream machine limit or cap. There is a weekly dream machine cap of 7 so you can’t get more than seven dream machines in a week.
Tower of Fantasy Dream Machine Drops Or Rewards
There are a variety of items you can get on clearing dream machine challenges. Your dream machine rewards depend upon two things, the type of mini game or challenge you get and your performance in the challenge. Each type of challenge provides some specific rewards and each challenge also has some bonus rewards which you can obtain on completing some additional targets during the challenge. Like in the image below you can see that i will get some Advancement Module on clearing the challenge but i can also get some Booster Module as bonus rewards if i defeat specified number of enemies during the challenge.
So these are the factors which determine dream machine drop rate or drops in Tower of Fantasy. Some of the dream machine drops which you can obtain as rewards include Black & Gold Nucleus, matrices, equipment pieces, Advancement Module, Booster Module, relic shards etc.
