Proficiency is one of the tabs you can find at any teammate’s or character’s main screen in Tower of God New World mobile game. At this tab you can use Instruction Manuals to increase the Proficiency Level of characters and get certain one time Milestone rewards and stat boosts in return. Most new players get confused about how this Proficiency system works. If you are also one of those players then no need to worry anymore. Tower of God New World Proficiency
In case you don’t know about Proficiency tab, you can locate it by switching to “Teammates” tab and then selecting a character of your choice. It is the second tab at bottom panel and has a shock sign inside a vertical quadrilateral shaped icon. At this screen you will find a “Proficiency Growth” button near bottom side and milestone or Proficiency level rewards at right side of the screen.
After tapping on this button you can use four types of Instruction Manuals to gain Proficiency EXP and increase your Proficiency level. You obviously need to obtain these manuals first before you could spend them at Proficiency tab. Below you can learn about all types of manuals together with how much EXP do you get from each of them.
- Common Instruction Manual – Grants 25 Proficiency EXP
- Uncommon Instruction Manual – Grants 100 Proficiency EXP
- Rare Instruction Manual – Grants 400 Proficiency EXP
- Red Instruction Manual – Grants 800 Proficiency EXP to Red Element character
- Green Instruction Manual – Grants 800 Proficiency EXP to Green Element character
- Blue Instruction Manual – Grants 800 Proficiency EXP to Blue Element character
- Purple Instruction Manual – Grants 800 Proficiency EXP to Purple Element character
- Yellow Instruction Manual – Grants 800 Proficiency EXP to Yellow Element character
As you start selecting manuals after tapping on “Proficiency Growth” button you will see the bar next to Proficiency level rewards rising. Once you have selected enough manuals to reach the next level, you can then tap on “Use” button to increase Proficiency level and claim the reward. On reaching Proficiency level 10 you can unlock the Exclusive Equipment of that character. Below you can check out all Proficiency level rewards.
- Proficiency Level 1 – ATK +50
- Proficiency Level 2 – Suspendium x50
- Proficiency Level 3 – DEF +10
- Proficiency Level 4 – Suspendium x100
- Proficiency Level 5 – HP +1,000
- Proficiency Level 6 – Suspendium x150
- Proficiency Level 7 – ACC +10
- Proficiency Level 8 – Suspendium x300
- Proficiency Level 9 – EVA +10
- Proficiency Level 10 – Exclusive Equipment

How To Get Instruction Manuals In TOG New World
Now let’s learn about how to get Instruction Manuals and Proficiency EXP so that you could increase your characters’ Proficiency levels. The game provides you various ways using which you can easily obtain these. Below you can learn about all the ways to get these manuals in Tower of God New World.
1. The first and the most basic way to obtain Proficiency EXP is by playing in Adventure mode, Mock Battle, Conquest Mode, Arena etc. All these modes will grant you Proficiency EXP on winning battles. Note that only the characters you use in your team will get Proficiency EXP so you can include the characters whom you want to gain EXP, before starting the battle.
Also, if you include a character in your team who has already reached Proficiency Level 10 then you will get Instruction Manuals in place of Proficiency EXP for that character. So you don’t need to worry about missing EXP when playing with a max proficiency level character.
2. Participating in Special Events is another great way to get Instruction Manuals together with other valuable items. You can just tap on “Event” button at Lobby screen to check out all available events and pick the ones which provide manuals (if you are specifically looking for manuals only).
3. You can also obtain Rare Instruction Manuals on accomplishing certain Achievements. At Lobby screen just tap on Missions and then switch to Achievements tab to look for the tasks which provide manuals.
4. Trial Area is another great way to get lots of Instruction Manuals quickly. However you can clear each trial and claim the rewards only once. You can access this mode by switching to Expedition tab.
5. A great and probably the only way (right now) to get element specific instruction manuals is from Workshop Store which can be accessed from “Control Center” tab. At “Normal” tab inside this store you can purchase these manuals using Coin and Suspendium. You can also purchase more of these manuals using Common Crystals under “Gem” tab.
6. Lastly you can also purchase certain packs from game shop which include these manuals together with other valuable items. By going to Shop > Growth > Growth+ you can find various such packs. However these packs are quite expensive to buy so its up to you if you want to purchase them or not.
