Rare Crystals together with Common & Uncommon crystals are three useful in-game currencies in Tower of God New World mobile game. They can be spent at Gem Shop to purchase a variety of game resources and items. You can purchase items such as Instruction Manuals, Enhancement Hammers, SSR Soulstones and even SSR+ characters using them. However most new players have no idea about how to get these three crystals and specially the Rare Crystal. If you are also one of those players then no need to worry anymore. How To Get Rare Crystals In Tower of God New World
Before learning about how to get rare and two other crystals, it’s important to know exactly where you can spend these crystals in the game. So in case you don’t yet know let me tell you that you can spend all these three crystals by switching to “Control Center” tab, selecting “Workshop Store” and then switching to “Gem” tab through bottom right side of the screen.
At “Gem” tab you can further switch to three different tabs (through the panel at center of the screen) to choose from three shops. The items in these three shops are refreshed regularly so make sure to regularly check for the items you might need. Below you can check which type of items or resources you can purchase from each shop.
- Common Crystal Exchange Shop – Gift Selection Chests, Instruction Manuals and Enhancement Hammers
- Uncommon Crystal Exchange Shop – SSR characters, SSR Soulstones and Enhancement Extracts
- Rare Crystal Exchange Shop – SSR & SSR+ characters, Element specific Enhancement Extracts
So you can see that all these items are really useful but the question is how do you get the crystals required for purchasing these items? Well, in order to get all three crystals you basically need to max out characters and then get duplicates of those characters. If you didn’t understood then no worries, just continue reading below to understand better in full detail.
When you go to any character’s main screen (by switching to “Teammates” tab and selecting the character) you will find a “Limit Break” tab there. At this tab you can Limit Break to increase the level of that character’s skills using Break Stone. These Break Stones can be obtained on getting a duplicate character from Summon, Soulstones etc. Higher the grade of the character, more break stones will be obtained.
At the same “Limit Break” tab of the character you can also find a “Pocket Certificate” button at top right side. By tapping on this button you will find six more stat boosts which you can unlock by fully limit breaking that character. Once you have raised the star level of each tier to activate the Pocket Certificate effect you will start getting crystals instead of break stones, on getting duplicates of that character.
This means you will need to get a lot of dupes of a character in order to get these crystals. Since you will first need to fully activate the Pocket Certificate effect and only then further dupes of that character will give you crystals. So this obviously means it’s not that easy or fast to obtain these crystals (unless you spend money to make lots of summons and complete Pocket Certificate faster).
You might now be wondering that there are three types of crystals and exactly how do you get each one? Well, if you max out and then get dupes of an R grade character then you will get Common crystals. Similarly dupes of a maxed out SR grade character will give Uncommon crystal and dupes of an SSR character will give you Rare crystals. This means the more summons you make, faster you will progress towards getting all these three crystals.
