Highwayman is one of the newly added roles in Undawn mobile & PC game. Unlocking and then leveling up this role allows you to enhance and modify your vehicle as well as also unlock new vehicle features. Right now there are total 7 Ability Talents of Highwayman role which allow you to improve your vehicle in various ways like decreasing the fuel consumption, reducing vehicle’s durability loss etc. However a lot of players have no idea about how to unlock Highwayman. If you are also among those players then no need to worry anymore. In this post i won’t only show you how to unlock Highwayman but also tell you how to get Highwayman Proficiency points to level up this role in Undawn. So let’s check it out!
How To Unlock Highwayman In Undawn
Although it’s quite easy and straightforward to unlock Highwayman as you just need to complete a really short mission called “[Tutorial] Highwayman” in order to unlock this role. But surprisingly there are still too many players who don’t know how to get this mission. The reason is probably because they don’t meet the requirements to get this mission and thus are unable to find it in their Mission list.
In this mission or quest you simply need to meet Sebastian at Golden Desert and have a small conversation with him and that’s it. If you are unable to locate this quest in your missions list then most probably you need to level up your character, as you need to reach level 79 in order to get this quest.
After completing this Highwayman quest you will also unlock a new “Vehicle” option in your Menu from where you can modify and tune your vehicle. You will able be able to access Race Extravaganza (Race Mode) from this screen. Not only this but you will also find a “Garage” button on this screen from where you can easily switch your vehicle.
By modifying and Tuning your vehicle you can improve various stats of your vehicle like Top Speed, Boost, Control, Brake, Nitrogen and Durability. Below you can learn about each of these stats because in order to properly tune the vehicle according to your needs it’s really important to know exactly what each stat mean.
- Brake – Braking performance refers to the shortest time or distance the vehicle takes to stop. The higher this value, the shorter the braking distance.
- Nitrogen – Nitro performance consists of the vehicle’s ability to speed up following a nitro boost and the duration of the boost and how quickly it takes after it is applied.
- Durability – Durability refers to the vehicle’s ability to resist impact. The higher this value, the more bumps and attacks the vehicle can withstand.
- Control – Handling performance is a more complex indicator that comprises steering and chassis performance as well as the stability of the vehicle at high speeds etc.
- Boost – Acceleration performance refers to how well the vehicle can accelerate within a given amount of time. This indicator is crucial when one is starting off or overtaking another vehicle.
- Top Speed – Top Speed tells you the greatest speed at which the vehicle can travel. This indicator has to do with the vehicle’s weight, drag coefficient, horsepower and tires used.
Other than the “Vehicle” screen in Menu, you will also obviously unlock seven new Ability Talents at Highwayman role screen. - Reduced Fuel Use – Modifies your gas tank to reduce fuel consumption of vehicles that use fuel.
- Automatic Drive – A nice little mod for drivers tired of changing gears all day. The Automatic Drive feature may be used with vehicles.
- Vehicle Modification – Raises your modification skill and teaches you how to modify vehicle parts including engines, gearboxes, brakes, nitro tanks and tires.
- Mobile Radio Station – Highwaymen spend most of their time in their vehicles. Unlock the vehicle radio to use the radio while in a vehicle.
- Vehicle Tuning – Teaches you how to fine-tune various vehicle components including tire pressure and position, gears, brakes, suspension and steering components.
- Reduced Cost – Reduces vehicle wear and tear.
- Reduces Electricity Consumption – Modifies your battery to reduce electricity consumption of electric vehicles.
In order to unlock and level up these talents you need to level up your Highwayman role by earning Highwayman Proficiency points. You can get up to 1600 proficiency points per day and up to 8,000 points per week.
