How To Cook Lieba In Undawn
Before learning about Lieba food you might want to know exactly how or where to find this Scavenger NPC whom i mentioned about in this post. So let me tell you that you can find this NPC called “Pained-looking Scavenger” close to Scavenger Settlement at “The Lost City” region. You can check his exact location in the map below.
On interacting with him you will get the side mission called “Tasty Tasty Lieba” in which you need to make a serving of Lieba and deliver it to Scavenger. In order to make lieba you will first need to obtain Lieba recipe and in order to get this recipe you need to complete another side mission called “Slice of Bread“.
You can access or start this mission by going to Menu > Story > Wilderness Anecdote > Slice of Bread (under Anecdote Overview). Note that you need to reach character level 56 in order to start this mission. If you haven’t yet reached that level then spend some time in gaining EXP and leveling up your character.
When you check the rewards of this mission you will find that it gives 2,000 silver, 200 reputation for Goldrush Outpost and Rye Bread recipe. Remember that Lieba and Rye Bread are exactly the same thing so don’t look for lieba recipe anywhere else as you won’t find it. You will be able to learn lieba recipe right after completing this side mission.

For completing this mission you need to go to Hoof Bay Highway at Koller Mines. There you will find an NPC named “Old Yula” standing beside two cars. After chatting with him you will get the first task of the mission called “To The Mountain” in which you need to go to the top of mountain and check whether the lunchbox of Old Yula is still there.
On reaching the top of the mountain you will get the second task called “Follow The Tracks”. In this task you simply need to activate Recon mode and follow the tracks in search of any clues. By following this secret track you will eventually find a dangerous giant bear. You will just look at him through bushes and decide to go back to Old Yula.
After informing Old Yula about what you witnessed, you will get the next task of the mission called “Follow Old Yula” in which you need to go with him to reclaim his lunch box from the grizzly bear. On reaching the destination with Old Yula you will find an Iron Lunchbox. Just pick up the lunchbox and give it to Old Yula.
On giving him the lunchbox you will finally get the last task called “Warm Invitation” in which you need to persuade Old Yula to go to Ravens Shelter. Simply interact with him and finish the conversation to complete the “Slice of Bread” side mission and get Rye Bread recipe. Make sure to tap on “Learn” button on the screen to learn and unlock the recipe.
After learning the recipe, go to Grill at your Homestead and tap on “View Recipes” button. Locate the Rye Bread recipe you have just learned and tap on “Prepare Ingredients” button underneath it. This will automatically add Rye Bread ingredients to the Grill. Now just tap on Cook button to make Rye Bread or Lieba and get it in your Backpack, under Food tab.
Now all you need to do is just go back to Pained-Looking Scavenger at The Lost City and give him the Rye Bread to complete the “Tasty Tasty Lieba” mission and get “Where’s My Adoring Crowd?” treasure map. You can of course also consume Rye Bread or Lieba to restore 37 HP/second, 4 Hunger/second and 1.9 Health/second for 3 seconds.
