Law of The Jungle is a recurring event in Viking Rise mobile game. It starts on Thursday and runs for only three days (till Saturday). In this event you need to face and compete with three other players in order to obtain Arena Points. The player with most Arena Points at the end of the countdown is declared the winner. A lot of players have many confusions regarding this event. If you are also among those players then you don’t need to worry anymore. Viking Rise Law of The Jungle
The very first thing you need to know is that your Chief’s Hall must reach at least Level 11 in order to participate in this event. If your Chief’s Hall is at low level then try to upgrade it first. Upgrading the Chief’s Hall doesn’t only allow you to participate in this event but also gives you a massive amount of Might. Most importantly you can also increase your max number of March Queue on reaching certain Chief’s Hall levels.
Before entering the event you will be required to choose a Main Commander and a Secondary Commander. Make sure to choose your most strongest heroes who are at high levels and also equipped with best skills. You will also be required to choose one of the troops from Axe Warrior, Armored Lancers, Bow Hunters or Scavengers. Your troops in the main game won’t be affected from this event in any way since the game provides you these Tier 4 to use in this event.
After selecting your heroes and troop you will enter the event where you will find yourself in a Jungle. There is only one location (the Jungle) in this event so you will always find yourself on the same map. Due to this, after playing the event a few times you will get quite familiar with the location and find it easier to move around the map.
One important thing you need to know is that buffs from Tribe Skills, Tribe Tech, Tribe Titles, Personal Tech, City Skins, City Buildings, Kingdom Titles, Divine Realms etc. do not take effect in this event. Instead of these buffs, the game provides you some event specific Runes, Equipment and Scrolls which you can collect from jungle to get more stronger.
Your first aim after entering the jungle should be to move around the map and try to collect as many Runes, Equipment and Scrolls as possible. The reason is because they are your only ways to get stronger in this event. Faster you are able to collect them, more stronger competitor you could become for other players at the location.
These Runes, Equipment and Scrolls can be found freely at random spots on the map and also by defeating various Monsters and Rune Monsters in the jungle. Runes’ and Equipment’s effects are passive so they are active all the time while Scroll effects need to be used when required. You can have only 4 scrolls at a time and you can use them by tapping on your desired scroll at bottom right side.
It’s best if you can identify a scroll just by looking at it’s icon. This way if you know the function of a scroll then you can quickly use the required one according to current situation. However if you are not yet familiar with scrolls then you can also tap and hold on a scroll at bottom right side to read each one’s description. - Urgency – Increases Troop’s March Speed by 30% for 5 seconds
- Random Teleport – Troops will be randomly teleported to a different location
- Invisibility – When Troops are not in combat, use the Stealth technique to enter a state of invisibility (enemy will not be able to see the Troop) for 15 seconds. When a concealed Troop launches an attack, the invisibility will be lifted.
- Ghastly Torture – Use the Nether Spirit to deal 1 instance of direct damage (Damage Factor 600) to up to 3 enemies within the selected range. The spirit will entangle the target and slow them down by 20% for 5 seconds.
- An Eye For An Eye – Increases Troop’s Counterattack Damage by 50% and reduces Defense by 10%. Lasts 5 sec
- Berserker – Troops gain the power of Berserkers, increasing Attack Damage by 30% and Defense by 20% for 20 seconds while increasing March Speed by 15% for 5 seconds
- Emergency Treatment – Performs emergency healing on Troops and restores 5% of Squad Capacity
- Earth Shattering – Deals 1 instance of direct damage (Damage Factor 600) to up to 3 enemies within the Troop’s range and reduces their Attack Damage by 20% for the next 5 seconds.
After getting powerful using various Runes, Equipment and Scrolls you should start attacking and defeating other players at the location. Every time you defeat a player you get 100 to 200 Arena Points. Defeating monsters at the location also gives you a little bit of points (10-20). The player with the most amount of Arena Points at the end of 10 minutes is declared the winner.
Another great way to get 200 Arena Points quickly is by defeating Niflung Defender on the map. They are like bosses and they spawn twice at the location, once when about 5 minutes and 30 seconds are left and the second time when 1 and a half minutes are left. They spawn for only 2 minutes and the great thing is that every player who deals some damage to these Niflung gets 200 points.
These Niflung Defender are not only a source of Arena Points but they also drop really powerful equipment and Scrolls which you can equip. They always spawn at the same location (which you can see in the image above). So it’s a good idea to stay close to their spawn location when the time is about to come so that you can deal damage or beat them before other players.
Viking Rise Law of The Jungle Rewards
If you are wondering about what exactly do you get by participating in Law of The Jungle event then let me tell you that you can claim not just 1 but many rewards. The first is the “Daily Reward” which you can claim every day of the event just by playing the event 1 and 3 times.
The second is the “Cumulative Rewards” which requires you to grind the event in order to get much better rewards. This includes tasks like getting the 1st position certain number of times and getting thousands of arena points before the end of the event.
Other than basic resource rewards like Food, Lumber and Stone you will also get an event currency called “Glory Medal” as a reward. These Glory Medal can be spent at Glory Shop to purchase a variety of hero shards like Ivana Shard, Jens Shard, Sigurd Shard and Lindy Shard together with other usual resources. You can access this shop from Law of the Jungle event screen and also through Honey Tavern at your City.
