Skilled Worker are the second best type of workers available in Viking Rise mobile game. They can be expert in any one specific function like increase the training queue, reduce the research time, increasing Eagle Flight speed etc. A lot of players want to recruit skilled worker on reaching Chapter 27 (A Brave Challenge) in the game. One of the missions in this Chapter requires you to “Recruit a Total of 20 Skilled Workers“. If you are also stuck at this quest then no need to worry anymore. Recruit Skilled Workers In Viking Rise
There are five grades or rarities of workers in Viking Rise. Higher the rarity of workers, increased buff or boost they provide. As you progress in the game you should try to recruit higher grade workers or replace your low quality workers with better ones as you can recruit only a limited number of workers. Below you can check all five grades of workers in Viking Rise.
- Seasoned Workers (Golden Background Color) – Grade S
- Skilled Workers (Purple Background Color) – Grade A
- Diligent Workers (Blue Background Color) – Grade B
- Ordinary Workers (Green Background Color) – Grade C
- Tired Workers (Grey Background Color) – Grade D
For completing this Chapter 27 quest you need to recruit 20 Skilled Workers, the ones with purple background color. Note that recruiting Seasoned/Legendary workers also counts towards this quest. In order to recruit them you first need to tap on “Clan Camp” building in your city and open it’s main screen to find three sections which are Recruitment, Commissions and Exploration. You need to tap on “Recruitment” option.
You will now be taken to “Recruit Worker” screen where you can recruit all grades of workers using Worker Coin or Clan Bronze Coin. Higher the grade of the worker, more clan bronze coin you will need to recruit him/her. Skilled Workers cost 8,000 worker coins each. This means you need a total of 1,60,000 worker coins or clan bronze coins in order to recruit all 20 workers for this quest.
Note that you get three choices of workers to recruit from and you can also refresh the workers choice using the “Refresh” button at top right of the screen. You get only a specific number of free refreshes per day. After you have consumed all your free refreshes you will then need to spend gems for more refreshes.
I don’t recommend spending gems for refreshing the workers list. Just consume all your daily free refreshes (if needed) and then just wait for the next day to let the workers list refresh automatically. Use this time to collect more Worker Coins so that you will be able to buy skilled workers when they appear at “Recruit Worker” screen on the next days.
A lot of players complain that skilled workers never or rarely appear for them at “Recruit Worker” screen, no matter how many times they refresh or wait for several days. The reason behind this issue is that their Commission level might be really low. As your Commission level reaches specific levels, you get 1% increase in the probability of recruiting Skilled Workers. Check the information below to know your chances of recruiting skilled workers according to Commission levels.
- At Commission Level 1-5 you have 3% Probability of Recruiting Skilled Workers
- At Commission Level 6-15 you have 4% Probability of Recruiting Skilled Workers
- At Commission Level 16-26 you have 5% Probability of Recruiting Skilled Workers
- At Commission Level 27-30 you have 6% Probability of Recruiting Skilled Workers
So if you rarely get to recruit skilled workers then make sure to increase your Commission Level. To increase your Commission Level you need to earn Commission Experience which can be obtained by completing Commissions at Clan Camp building. Higher your level, more frequently skilled workers will appear for you and thus faster you will be able to recruit 20 skilled workers to complete this quest.

Clan Bronze Coin is what you need for recruiting skilled workers once they appear at “Recruit Worker” screen. Since you need a total of 1,60,000 Clan Bronze Coin or Worker Coin for recruiting 20 skilled workers therefore you need to use all the possible ways to get as much of these coins as possible. 1. The first and also the best way to get these coins is to complete Commissions at Clan Camp. By completing these commissions you don’t only earn commission experience but also get a specific amount of Clan Bronze Coin. 3. The third way to get more of these coins is to dismiss low grade workers or the workers you don’t need. In order to dismiss workers you first need to open “Worker Info” screen through worker button at bottom left corner of the screen. You now need to switch to “Worker Dismissal” tab.
At this screen you can see all the workers you have recruited. Simply select the workers you don’t need and tap on “Dismiss Worker” button to dismiss those workers and get certain amount of coins. Higher the grade of the dismissed worker, more coins you will get.
4. Attacking and defeating fierce Monsters in the open world is also a good way to get Clan Bronze Coin. You can search for these monsters after reaching Chief’s Hall level 16 and then building a Smithy in your City. So this won’t be an available option for you until you upgrade your Chief’s Hall to level 16, which might take a few weeks.
5. You can also get a little bit of coins by defeating Niflung Leaders in the open world. However they are really strong and you will need to join an active and powerful Tribe in order to defeat these Niflung Leaders.
