How To Remove Fish In Head In Undawn
Before learning about removing the fish from your head, first let’s quickly get to know a little more information about it. This way you will know when you accidentally equip something on yourself in future about which you won’t have any idea when and how did it happen. If you will know about these equipment and items, you will know exactly what they are and also what you need to do to get rid of them.
Most players (including me) have no idea about how or when this fish gets attached to our head in the game. Probably because we are too much focused on other important things going on the screen. The only thing we know is that it gets equipped while following the early missions in the game.
However the main issue is not how or when the fish got attached to character’s head instead the issue is how it looks on the character. Frankly speaking, the fish in head makes the character look more foolish than funny. Just think about it, why or how would a fish pierce through the head like an arrow? To me personally it doesn’t look funny and i absolutely didn’t like it at all however there are also many players who find the fish quite funny.
You will actually see many players in the game roaming around with this fish in the head. But you can’t be sure about the reason they are playing with that arrow like fish. May be because they find it funny and want to make other players smile when they see them with this weird fish. The other reason could be they also have no clue about how to unequip or get rid of fish in head.

So let’s see exactly how you can unequip or get rid of the fish from your head. The first thing you need to know is that the fish is actually an Accessory cosmetic item named Fintastic. So you can remove or replace it with other accessories whenever you want. Below you can learn step by step how to remove fish in head in Undawn.
Step 1. In order to remove or replace it you need to open “Outfits” screen. You can access it through your Backpack by tapping on a button with clothes icon (just underneath “Reinforce”). The other way is to tap on four squares at top right side and then tapping on Wardrobe. You can see the location of both these buttons in the image below.
Step 2. At Outfits screen you will find three icons or tabs at very right of the screen. These icons are a Cloth, Sunglasses and a Gun. Tap on Sunglasses button (the second one).
Step 3. On selecting the sunglasses tab, a new set of options will appear in the column just next to it. These options are Backpack, Face, Glasses, Earring, Headwear, Tail and Make-up. You need to tap on Headwear option.
Step 4. You will now be able to see all cosmetics available under Headwear section. In the list of cosmetics you will find fish in head (Fintastic) cosmetic is already selected and this is the reason you have this fish in your head. Just tap on the fish in the cosmetics list to unequip or remove it from your head.
You don’t need to tap on any OK or Save button after deselecting the Fish. You can now just close the Accessory screen to arrive at main game screen and you will find that your character is finally free from that annoying fish over his/her head.
How To Unequip/Remove Gas Mask In Undawn
Gas Mask is another thing which is unknowingly equipped on faces of a lot of players in Undawn. Just like the fish in head, it is also equipped during completing the early game missions. However the difference is that the Gas Mask doesn’t looks weird and stupid like the fish. It actually looks kinda cool over character’s face and that’s why many players don’t mind it equipped in the game.
Although the mask looks stylish and all but it actually doesn’t makes sense to have a gas mask equipped all the time. Why would someone keep wearing a gas mask if there is no poisonous gas around? Another reason is that the mask keeps losing durability if you keep it equipped and players don’t want to lose it since it might be required later in the game. Due to all these reasons everyone wants to know how to remove or unequip gas mask in Undawn.
Well, the steps to remove gas mask is almost the same as removing the fish as explained earlier. The only difference is that you need to select “Face” option after tapping on Sunglasses tab instead of Headwear, since the gas mask is equipped on face and it’s not a headwear.
At Face cosmetics screen you will find the Gas Mask is checked and that’s the reason you have the mask on your face. So just uncheck or deselect the Gas Mask to remove it. You can also tap on “Reset Status” button at top left of the screen to get rid of all equipped cosmetics and return the character to it’s default outfit.
