How to get Antenna is what a lot of players want to know in Last Day On Earth Survival game. The reason they want to know about where to find antenna is most probably because they are stuck at “Finish Building Headquarters” task for Act 2 Chapter 1 Mission 3 called “Got Connection“. In this task you are required to finalize the Headquarters at Settlement location. If you are also stuck at this task and not able to find antenna then no need to worry anymore. How To Get Antenna In Last Day On Earth
As mentioned above, i am going to start with a full step by step walkthrough of “Got Connection” mission. So this mission starts after you complete Act 2 Chapter 1 Mission 2 known as Lost Assistant. On reaching Mission 3 the first task will require you to Go To The Factory because that’s where you will complete almost 95% of this mission.
The next task “Find Rachel At the Factory” is pretty easy as you can find her almost next to you on entering the factory, outside a nearby room. After finding her you need to Activate the Electrical Panel for which you just need to fix the Switchboard inside the room. You can fix it using 3 Transistor which can be found from the storage inside the room itself.
After fixing the Switchboard you need to follow Rachel until you reach outside the closed gates of the Factory. In order to Open The Gates you need to look for another electrical panel which is located inside a room towards north of the gates. Just open the room, beat zombies inside it and activate the panel to complete this task.
As soon as the gate opens, a small horde of enemies will start attacking Rachel, just help her to complete the next task called “Help Rachel Fend Off“. After that you need to follow Rachel as she enters the factory to give you the next task which is “Turn off The Gas 0/2“. Make sure to avoid coming in contact with the gas until you have turned it off. Both valves required for turning off the gas can be found inside the two connected rooms. So just open both rooms, beat zombies inside them and interact with valves to turn off the gas.
The next task requires you to open the box but unfortunately you won’t find an antenna inside it. The next task requires you to Clear out the Blockage which can be done using a Shovel. So make sure you bring a shovel with you before entering the Factory or you might need to travel back to your home base to bring one. Note that the shovel doesn’t necessarily need to have full durability. So if you have an almost broken shovel, just use that.
After clearing the blockage you can Go Down the Basement to get the next task “Find an Antenna“. You now need to search for the antenna at the basement. While searching for the antenna you will need to go through various rooms full of different obstacles. It’s important to know about how to get rid of each obstacle at the basement before we talk about getting the antenna.
The very first obstacle you will find right after arriving at basement is the electrified water puddle. If you come in contact with this water then you get stunned and also start losing 10 HP per second. If you want to use a shortcut to exit the basement after finding the antenna then you must find a way to deactivate this electrified water before you go any further into the basement.
In order to turn off the electricity going into the water you need to deactivate it using the panel located inside the adjoining room. This panel can be seen as a gear icon on the minimap. However this room is also filled with gas so you need to be quick to turn off electricity and then either return to the first room or quickly enter the next room.
There is also one more electrified water puddle at the entrance of the third room (adjoining the gas room) so it’s actually necessary to turn off electricity using the panel. The next obstacle is the gas in the second room. There are actually two ways to tackle it. The first way is to bring a Gas Mask with you and equip it before entering the gas room.
The second and also the recommended way is to simply turn off gas using the valve located in the third room. This way you can also return to the second room in case you get surrounded with multiple zombies and need some space to avoid getting damage and beat them using gun or other weapon.
After tackling through all these obstacles you will eventually reach a room which has a storage box and also a place to install a generator. By opening this storage box you will finally be able to get an antenna, a hammer as well as some other low grade items from it. You can then pick up the generator from the previous room and drop it over the allotted place in antenna room to open the last room’s door and reach Rachel.
Rachel will then ask you to Return to the Settlement where you will get the final task of the mission, which is “Finish Building Headquarters“. You actually need two antenna for finalizing Headquarters that’s why a lot of players can’t finish building headquarters and want to know how to get more antennas or where to find second antenna. The answer is actually quite easy and straightforward. To get more antennas you simply need to wait for Abandoned Factory to reset (which takes 2 days) and then clear it again. You need to keep clearing Abandoned Factory location every two days till you find the second antenna, as you are not guaranteed to get an antenna at every run.
