You need to constantly keep farming these resources if you want to continuously progress and keep getting stronger in the game. The reason is because you need these items for various important functions like training troops, upgrading buildings, healing wounded troops, researching etc. However a lot of players have no idea about how to get resources or the best way to farm them. How To Get Resources In Viking Rise
Whether you are looking for Wood, Stone, Gold or Food, i am now going to tell you 10 ways using which you can get all these resources in Viking Rise. I highly recommend you to follow all or most of the below mentioned ways regularly in the game. If you ever get stuck and can’t figure out what to do then it’s probably best to invest that time in implementing the below mentioned methods.
The more you use these 10 methods, more resources you will have in the game. This means you will be able to unlock higher tier troops by researching at Academy, train those high tier troops at Barracks and also heal them on time when they get injured or wounded in battles. Not only this but you will also be able to upgrade your buildings to make them more stronger and gain “Might”. So now let’s check out exactly how to get gold or i should say how to get resources in Viking Rise.
1. The first and the most easiest way to farm resources is to gather them from open world. You can do it by tapping on Crosshair button at bottom left corner to arrive at global map. Then tap on magnifying glass button at bottom left corner to bring up the selection screen where you can choose which resource you want to gather.
You can get Food from Farm, Wood or Lumber from Sawmill, Stone from Quarry and Gold from Gold Mine. Note that you must first research “Gold Mining” technology (under Economy) at Academy to be able to gather gold in open world. You can also research different technologies to increase the gathering of individual resources.
When you tap on search button after choosing a resource it will show you a Resource Point from where you can gather that resource. Check the quantity in front of “Capacity” and if it’s only few thousands then search again by increasing or decreasing the level at selection screen. Try to gather from resource points which give at least 100k and more quantity of the resource.
2. The next way to get resources is to attack other players and raid their resources. It’s one of the fastest ways to get a huge amount of resources in very small amount of time. However you should have a good squad with high level heroes and at least tier 2 or tier 3 troops. The more stronger your troops and heroes, higher will be your chances to successfully defeat the opponent player and raid maximum resources.
By zooming out a little bit at open world screen you will be able to see the cities of other players/chiefs with a number below them. You can tap on these cities to check each player’s “Might” and then can also scout their city if you plan to attack them. After that you can attack their cities to defeat them and raid their resources. 3. Another great way to get several thousands of resources every day is by completing Daily Quests. These quests require you to complete simple tasks like training troops, gathering resources, consuming items, upgrading buildings etc. You can get all four resources by completing each task itself and then also from Quest Point Chests at the top of the screen. By collecting 100 points you can also get 1 Oracle Soulstone and 1 Blessed Soulstone everyday.

4. Completing your Chapter Missions is another great way to get several thousands quantity of Lumber, Stone, Food and Gold in Viking Rise. Completing these quests might take you longer than daily quests but the rewards are also comparatively more. What’s great is that once you have finished all quests you can then claim Chapter completion reward at the bottom of the screen to get even more resources and other items.
5. The next way to get resources is to build Honey Tavern at your city. It’s a building where you can find different Merchants who sell all kinds of valuable items. After tapping on Honey Tavern you will find three buttons, you need to tap on the second button (balance icon) to find three Merchants which are Prosperity Merchant, Clan Merchant and Tavern Keeper. You need to visit Tavern Keeper in order to buy Gold, Stone, Food and Wood.
6. Viking Camps are another quick way to get specific resources without requiring you to spend anything. In order to find these camps you need to build “Eagle’s Nest” and then send eagles on exploration. These eagles will then keep flying in the open world to dispel fog and uncover these Viking Camps.
You will be able to explore these uncovered Viking Camps through “Camp Report” which can be accessed using the button just right before “Mail” at bottom right side of the screen. Every Viking Camp gives you two rewards to choose from, the first will be a specific tier 1 troop and the second will be a resource. During early stage in the game most players go with the troops but as they reach mid game content, most of them always choose resources.
7. You can also get individual resources from Errands which spawn at random locations outside your city and at your occupied villages. You need to manually and carefully check out complete areas in order to find these errands as they look quite similar to objects or plants/bushes nearby them.
You can identify these errands from white bubble like shine coming out of them. You need to then just tap on them to let a worker come to it for collecting. You need to wait for a specific amount of time before the errand resources are added to your account. Tip: Don’t just check the ground, you can also find fishes in ponds or seas using which you can get Food resource.
8. There are always some Events running in the game and new special events are also periodically released. Participating in these events is not only a great way to obtain resources but also various other rare items which can only be obtained from events. So make sure to always participate in active events to get more resources.
9. Joining an Active and powerful Tribe is really important in this game. Your tribe won’t only help you to upgrade buildings faster but also greatly help you to get even more resources. One of the ways you can get resources from Tribe is from Weekly Tribe Resource Point Reward which can provide you almost millions or more quantity of each resource every week.
10. The last way to get all four resources is to simply buy them using gems. You can tap on any of the resources at top right side of the screen to open “Replenish Resources” screen. From here you can purchase specific quantities of each resources by spending gems. However i recommend using this method only in emergency.
