Ragnar is one of the best heroes you could get in Viking Rise mobile game. He is a natural leader and shows great strength with different units. He also has Polymath and Support Roles which allow him to increase Troop combat capabilities in various situations and also allow him to improve the combat capabilities of himself and his allies. He is one of those few legendary heroes who are S tier in Internal Affairs Officer stats by default which includes Mining Village, Commerce Village and Security Village. At 3 stars he becomes an SS tier and by ascending him to 5 stars he becomes an amazing SSS tier in all three Internal Affairs Officer stats. Below you can check out his 6 unique talents.

- Strategic Offense – Increases deployed Troops’ Attack by 1.8%

- Deadly Raid – When deployed troops have an active buff effect, there is a 25% chance to inflict direct damage once
- Fountain of Life – Increases deployed Troops’ health by 1.8%
- Born King – Increases Rallied Troops’ March Speed by 4.6% & increases Rallied Troops’ Capacity by 2%

Odin’s Asylum – For every 8 rounds of battle, the skill damage of the Hero-led Squad increases by 10% for 2 seconds. Each trigger will inflict 1 instance of direct damage to the target troop (Damage Factor 345).
Baldr’s Blessing – For every 8 rounds of battle, the health of the Hero-led Squad increases by 5.5%, defense increases by 5.5% and counterattack damage increases by 34.5% for 3 seconds.
Battle Hymn – Deals 1 instance of direct damage (Damage Factor 310) once every 9 seconds, with a 20% chance of increasing Passive Skill Damage by 4.5% for 3 seconds.
Hera’s Curse – For every 8 rounds in a battle, the target troops will have a 50% chance to be Burning, Poisoned or Bleeding (Damage Factor 120) for 3 seconds.
How To Get Ragnar In Viking Rise
As you can see from above details that he is a really useful and strong hero but the question comes how do you get him? If you check the “List of Rewards” section at Hall of Valor you won’t find Ragnar in the list. This means you can’t summon him by spending Oracle Soulstone at Hall of Valor. He is an exclusive hero that’s why you can neither summon him nor get his shards from the hall.
Then the question comes, if you can’t summon him from Hall of Valor then how to get Ragnar in Viking Rise? Well, the first thing you need to know is that currently you can only obtain his shards and can’t directly summon him as a Hero. So you need to get 10 Ragnar Shard in order to get Ragnar. The only way to get his shard right now is from Supreme Chests which can be obtained from Prosperity screen. These are actually premium chests which means you need to purchase them with money at different prosperity levels. Ragnar Shards can be obtained starting from Prosperity Level 8 Supreme Chests. Below you can check how how many of his shards do you get at each prosperity level.
- Prosperity Level 8 Supreme Chest – 55 Ragnar Shard
- Prosperity Level 9 Supreme Chest – 135 Ragnar Shard
- Prosperity Level 10 Supreme Chest – 140 Ragnar Shard
- Prosperity Level 11 Supreme Chest – 280 Ragnar Shard
- Prosperity Level 12 Supreme Chest – 290 Ragnar Shard
- Prosperity Level 13 Supreme Chest – 300 Ragnar Shard
The price of these chests seems to increase every few prosperity levels because they also include a good quantity of rare items as well. These items include thousands of Prosperity points, high level Tribe Chests, Hero Experience, 24 hour speed ups and more. It could be disappointing to know that he can only be obtained in this way but that’s how it is right now. Although the chance seems low but i hope they provide all players an opportunity to get at least 10 Ragnar Shards from an event in upcoming updates.
